Hi all,

My first post, so enjoy. I bought this previously for US$99/AU$128, now it's for US$79.99/AU$104. I have used it the past few weeks and I'm very impressed. Great for out door running and running on the treadmill at the gym. Uses the Wahoo Runfit App which is very good.

Ships to Australia.

  • Yeah a guy in a ad hawking something, what an absolute legend.

  • I had an older Wahoo chest strap which ended up failing so I'm a little hesitant to give them another shot.

  • I'd give another try with Wahoo. I use it everyday running around the city and it connects to my Garmin Forerunner 15 with ease. I'm impressed and at the gym I keep my heart rate within a specific zone, then push it a bit higher to get a good workout.

  • i gave mine away to the gf as i received a polar for free
but in saying that, I definitely recommend the wahoo tickr x

  • Definitely a recommendation from me. It records run data without need for a phone. No gps but does cadence, strike rate, oscillation without need for a phone until you sync it later.

  • My only issue (own one) is that the advanced metrics (cadence etc) don't sync to anywhere, they just live on the device the file was uploaded to. Major advantage of the tickr is BT + ANT - which is a big one if you have lots of sensors (bike/running/phone).

  • I bought a Mio Fuse for around AUD130. I wasn't keen on the whole chest strap idea so I gave optical HRM a go. I suspect I wouldn't be using a chest strap nearly as often due to the inconvenience.

  • FYI, if you only want the HRM, you can get a generic bluetooth cheststrap from eBay for $12.
Tested, works fine with Wahoo devices as well as phones.

@OP, you neglected to include postage in your description, which brings the AUD total to about $112 odd. They sell at Pushys with free delivery for $112. I'd rather buy local for Australian delivery and warranty. Sorry mate, this isn't a bargain.
