  • Great share!!

gonna take a while to add them all.. haha

    • +3

Right; need an easy 'add all' button.

      • +3

Not to mention the 700 receipts that come in after into your inbox. LOL

  • Great books, spoiled for choices :) thanks

  • Do i need a kindle to access these?

    • +2

To access on any device, download the corresponding Kindle application.

    • +1

You can use the Kindle app on iOS/Android

      • thanks!

one more Q - can i read them on my desktop PC or does it have to be ios/android?

        • +1

Yes you can read on desktop through kindle cloud reader or use the kindle app from the windows app store. The cloud reader is better imo but you can read offline I guess with the app.

        • +2

I think there's a pc version available too.

  • Thank you!

Great collection. Thanks. Pity couldn't find anything about the Psychology of elephants.

  • Fantastic share! Where to start?

The book on Egyptian mathematics looks good.

  • +2

    is this usually free ebooks?

  • Lots of selections, thank you. Any suggestions?

  • +1

709 in the AU list before it stops listing freebies. Thankfully with my Amazon settings it re-asked for my password for potential non-free purchases (so 1-click purchasing didn't work for those), preventing an expensive boo-boo or several.

    • +2

About 12 pages (US store) of freebies. I was clicking so fast, hoped I didn't click on one that costed money :-(

      • If you did, just jump on a chat session with Amazon and they'll gladly refund your money.

For the exercise I never leave any card or PayPal details with the big AA. Thus I or anyone else on my account should not be able to pay. I don,t mind the extra time to complete a transaction. If you cannot get rid of credit card held do a free transfer to another group with interest free. lol

Thanks TA. Need a break after 3 pages… 9 to go I think!

    • +1

You wish. Took me 45 pages to get those 709 free ebooks!

  • +3

Here's a link that gets rid of all the ones that cost money: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_st_smooth-review-rank?lo=dig…. AU link is here

  • good stuff!!

  • +2

Thanks TA, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into "Analysing skid marks"
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Analysing-skid-marks-Open-Universi…

  • What a collection! I might get started with "analysing skid marks"…

  • Interesting collection of free short course material from Open Learning.

Some are only 1 hour free courses with 20 pages, others longer. So will likely give general introduction to topic. I've spent semesters at uni covering some topics.

    So normal price is FREE.
No need to rush to download.
But definitely worth a look & maybe bookmark for later

  • Thank You!!!

  • Thank you for the great post.

  • I have an US account because I think way back these deals were on the US bookstore or some other personal reasons.

Do ya'll think I'm missing out because of this or anything with at could go wrong?

Display all the book in "List View" to make it easier and quicker to add:
    https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_il_to_digital-text?rh=n%3A13…

Note that this only work if you have "1-Click buy" enabled.

  • anyway to sort this list into subjects?

(actually, no need, got up to page 12 on au site and not free after that)

  • Holy cow! I am agog with the breadth of this knowledge base - thank you! Info FOMO is apparently a think I've discovered, must have all the books!

  • Thanks op. Will increase my 1350 books immensely but some have ? Only 30 day free read on kindle ❔ for what that means - but open library uni.

  • +1

downloaded the 4 marketing ones I could see as I am studying it, these are basic summary books, with references to where they got the info, and some short question/tasks.

pretty basic, no more than you'd find googleing the subject and reading the first few result pages tbh. worthy of the free price tag.

    • +1

And yet it gives you further reference points in your assignments. You can go from 10 to 33 with quotes that can be verified. 😉

Ended up creating a couple of keyboard macros to automate much of the repetitive stuff, though it still took about 35 mins to get through the lot.

  • From memory your AU store purchases are separate to US?

I do remember having aN US vs AUD account login. Kind of weird having two watchlists etc, I am not sure whwy they never had a global account that could be used/cross-country platformed?

I am just adding everything on my AUD account, but couldn't find any other 'digital' orders. So somehow I must have gotten a lot of my ebooks prev on the US account?? I assume then adding all of these ebooks will only show up on my aud login? Would my kindle be linked to both digital books from both US vs AUD stores??
