Battleborn is totally worthless. They will either have to transition to a F2P model or close the game down at some point soon in the future as nobody is playing it.
For the $10 more the Pro is a no-brainer

Has anyone been able to successfully return the bonus games? Are they really okay with refunding the full purchase price of each game even though they were included as part of a bundle?
Yes, take a look at the last page of comments in the original deal. They made a mistake with me and I ended up with the console for $362!
Only a few days of the deal left so if you want to give it a go you'll need to be quick.

With the bigw bundle I had no luck in returning games as they were part of a bundle… but they were happy to exchange them for different ones when I said I already had them, so I exchanged fallout 4 and Dishonoured 2 and got Overwatch and Resident Evil 7. Could rebuy fallout 4 and dishonoured games from eb I guess and save heaps.

You are much better off with the PS4 Pro bundle from Big W and then return the games (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/286983). Will come to $392.56 for the console alone. You can then buy Doom on sale, I think it is $18 at Target?
Total $10 more and you get the 1tb Pro. You will sacrifice Battleborn but from what I read it has already "lost the battle" to Overwatch anyways…
