This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD
  • ULP
  • 111.9/litre

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

      Just to confirm that the script works fine for me.

      The only minor issue I can see is that the expiry time for the lock seems to out of order

      ie. in my case, it shall expire on 10.56 am 21/1/19

      but your site shows 23.56 (11.56 pm) 20/1/19

      thanks for you work, it's now so easy to lock everywhere.

      When I try to log in using the link, it says "An unknown error occurred. Please try again later". Are you updating something in the backend ot it is just me?

      Can’t thank you enough,after latest app update wasn’t able to run it, it somehow detected my root, which was working fine for ages. Came here to see if there is any fix, tried your link and it worked fine.

    Bit of a Noob questions, but if i have locked in 80 litres at a discounted price and my ute only takes 65 litres, will i lose the other 15?

          You only get charged for what you fill up.
          If you locked in 80L and fill up 20L, you pay 20L worth and then your credit on the app gets unlocked for using another time.
          If you lock in 80L and fill up 90L, you pay 80L at the locked in price and 10L at the pump price.

        So if i locked in 80L ($87.20) @ $1.09 and only use 65L ($70.85) will that approx $17 still be on my account?

          yes, you dont lose money. It stays on your account for next time.

          You will just lose the fuel lock price as this is a single use.

          You also don't have to use the app credit to pay. You can use any payment method you like.

      It's possible. This is the reason why I don't update nox (or the APP) unless necessary. Of course, this comment is applicable to only this particular situation (7 11 app on nox player), and my devices are normally always up to date with the latest patches.

    So a low price gets posted in this thread, then people jump onto the main deals page and submit it as a deal. Apart from the upvotes what is the point of doing it?

      Make people aware that aren't on this thread. Give some people an opportunity to purchase cheap fuel if they drive to Ashwood if they can't fake a location.

    Can anyone help me with the app not working? 3 days ago it worked fine but now theres a notification it wants me to update the app and the app exits itself. Cant find the thread where the app files are located. Can anyone please help me?

        Yeah 1.6 forces an update to 1.7, which doesn't seem to work on emulators.

        When fuel was $1.70 - $1.80 about 2 - 3 months ago, i had to top the account up close to $100.

        I always pay with Credit Card at the counter, not using the money in my account hence, when i fuel lock, like teninchdk's comment above, i always lock in the maximum possible.

        I drive a Holden ZB Calais V Tourer.

              @COVID-19: Yep, I am just taking the piss mate. The new "Commodore" (ala Insignia) is not a bad car, but they should never have called it a Commodore. I feel Holden has really missed the mark with that one. The new "Commodore" (Insignia) is basically a Mondeo competitor (both mid to large size front wheel drive, 4 cylinder hatchbacks) and you don't see Ford trying to hoodwink the public by calling the Mondeo the new Falcon.

                Surprisingly, its not a bad car at all. I got the 6 cylinder AWD sports wagon. Love those matrix LED headlights.

                I do however agree with your comments. Maybe the 4 cylinder should have been called something else….

      Likely to be at you reached your 2 locks per 24 hours limit. If you're using Nox you can download another emulator version (has a different Android ID) to lock in a price again.

    First time in a long time i legitimately fuel locked via stock app, in the same suburb as the 7eleven with no gps mod. Few hours later, lock disappears. Grr.
