This thread serves to let everyone know how much you have saved on your 7/11 fuel app.

Step 1: Subscribe to this thread to get email updates. You can change your subscription settings in your Ozbargain account to enable more/less email updates.

Step 2: Upon filling up simply fill in the details in this format:

  • NAME OF 7/11 STORE
  • PETROL TYPE
  • PETROL PRICE

Example:

  • Richlands QLD
  • ULP
  • 111.9/litre

There are two "tricks" that can be extremely beneficial as there is a common trend experienced by 7-Eleven App users: 1) If you receive an error processing your credit/debit card, you can purchase a 7-Eleven Gift Card in-store and apply the credits instantly onto the App. 2) You do not need to use the funds on your App to pay for the fuel, you can lock-in the price and pay via Cash or Card at the checkout saving the hassle of constantly topping up, gift cards, etc.

Master131 spends a lot of time creating and maintaining the script at Project Zero Three that we all know and love.

    @billy_bob: Here is my tutorial on how to remove the mock locations. https://pastebin.com/e5GvxVKp Hopefully it is somewhat detailed.. I didn't bother going into how to decompile/recompile the APK because I figured you could Google/YouTube it (it's pretty simple).

    Any other questions I'm more than happy to help!

    ALSO, it's much easier to work on 1.5.2 instead of the latest version, but people like the latest and greatest (lol) so this one works fine!

    Edit: if someone learns anything from this I'll be happy! Also, you can try modifying the app yourself and remove the root check too!

    Anyone having issues locking today with Nox? Goes back to the front page whenever I try locking after I choose the amount.

      Yea - I'm having the same issue just with the mobile app itself. Won't lock the fuel prices and just bounces back to the home page

          App Cloner works to create clones and switch android id. It got delisted from g play store though

      Thats some greedy pricing there, taking advantage of uninformed consumers. At 36.6c above the TPG (wholesale) price. That is the biggest I have seen in quite a few years of watching fuel prices. Would this be a Shell servo by any chance?

      Edit: I think this is the biggest jump I have ever seen. Are they expecting a rapid turn-around (i.e. an increase) in TPG prices?

        TGP is still falling. It's down to $1.12 in Brisbane now.

        It would be nice if the govt could cap prices to within say 10% of the TGP..

          Looks like you've fixed it, except for U95 which still says Revesby at 126.2. when Minto is 125.9.

    Coles Express are normally heaps more expensive - currently they are the only one on the Pacific Hwy (off the M1) that's cheap. So it's 113.4 (10c off Flybuys + 4c docket) for 91 compared to 151.4 literally 50m later.

      Coles Express Marsfield is the champion in NSW these days with U91 pump priced at 119.4c/l.

        Yeah I saw that also, except there's a few around Ryde/Macquarie Park that are priced low. Going along that stretch the next cheapest is 150.9

        I'd need to be running on empty to make the trip to Marsfield worth it atm.

          All nearby servos are much higher surprisingly. Parklea is also consistently low, but E10 only.

            Granted there are a lot of expensive ones but also quite a few cheap ones too!

        Would explain why you haven't heard from it if you were from Melbourne.
        It's FuelCheck - a NSW initiative that shows every petrol station near you with their current prices as well as trends on whether petrol is going up/down, cheapest and most expensive in NSW etc

        Targeted offers - you'll get an email and it'll show on Flybuys app if you are

        Offers range between 6c off, 10c off, 2x/5x/10x bonus points or X points spending $Y.
        A nice discount - been targeted so many times for this but normally don't use it much as Coles Express is much more expensive. This time is great, filled up.

        Oh and you can use it as many times as you want before expiry :)

        You can request the card number from him or post a "Wanted" in classified section. Many people are willing to share (including me). It does not harm to share it as others can not redeem points with only card numbers. Help others saving a few dollars while only earning a few cents.

    have trouble getting it to work on BlueStacks. 7-Eleven app detects that it's a rooted device and won't load.
    is the modded APK still around? https://track6.mixtape.moe/bxctuj.apk doesn't seem to work.

    Sorry mate, I fudged up! When I was making the tutorial somewhere above I was confirming to myself what the first check actually does.
    So whats actually happening is if you're not rooted the app is tricked into saying you are rooted, whereas if you are rooted it thinks you're not rooted - reverse psychology 😳.

    This should be the real deal now, hopefully this link lasts for a while!

    Good old 7-Eleven app. When prices were clearly about to spike, it wouldn't let me lock in 113.9 at Minto NSW.

    Luckily I stockpiled 130L and a full tank at 114.2 days earlier. My little car gets 6L/100 with it's 30L tank. I'm good for the next 2,500KM.
