Good if you're already planning to buy the hard drive, but I wouldn't get it just because of the $20 voucher, as there is a small chance you would be in the first 100.

  • People in Perth can grab a WD 2TB from netplus for $154
    http://www.netplus.com.au/product/HD4/HDWE72RSATBA020D/Hard-…

    • MSY has them for $153, but I do like the $5 postage to Perth metro area.

      • Did you notice that "Purchases must be made from July 20 2010"

So it's absolutely useless for any future purchases (check today's date)

        • Yes, but it says "Purchases must be made from July 20 2010" not "Purchases must be made before July 20 2010".

So to me that means as long as you buy after July 20 and before they issue 100 rebates, you're ok.

  • That's a score, I brought the one from 9289 for $149 with free delivery and now get a $20 voucher because the invoice is made out on the 20th!! whoohooo, making my 2 tb storage drive $129 delivered!! awesome!! simply awesome!!!

Yea, if you are one of the first 100. It says you need to write down the serial number found at the back of the hard drive you purchased as part of the claim. That might mean you can't claim it because you probably wont receive it till next week.

      • I got mine today and the claim has gone through with "success" yippeee!!

        • That's just great. I ordered mine on the 19th, and worse, 9289 hasn't even shipped yet.

        • Submitted mine from 9289 as well.
All it says is "Success! Your submission has been saved!" with no indication that it is still within the first 100. Will have to wait (for 10-14 days) and see.

  • It says "participating online retailers" - wonder if this would include MSY

damn first 100 only… thats not going to go very far!

cant wait for these drives to dip to under 120! (or better yet 100 bux!)

Woot for 9289.com putting 20/7/2010 on the invoice. :) $149 for a 2TB delivered and a $20 Coles gift card. I couldn't have planned that any better.

  • This is great, thanks for bringing it to attention. I bought a drive and win7 on sunday, it got shipped tuesday. Circumstances conspire, in my favor this time as the invoice shows tuesdays date.

  • the site does not tell the number of the rest of voucher so we do not know we are still in the top 100 or not.

    • There could be a lot of disappointed people soon given:

      626 clicks

  • Mine came today. As I put my app through the day this was posted I imagine I must have been one of the first.

It came in a registered parcel, I almost wasn't able to convince the post lady to sign the package over to me, as I used a fake name, for lols ( Mr Bob Celery)
But its all good, $20 worth of free groceries for me, card doesn't expire for two years.

KiwiRoo, you are a champion for this! never would have found it otherwise.
