[NSW] One Year National Parks All Park Pass $175 (Normal Price $190), Multi Park $50 When Renewing Vehicle Rego

210

It seems this deal has started up again but without a generic code.

Information from NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service:

"When you renew a NSW vehicle registration online through Service NSW, you can get a $15 discount on All Parks and Multi-Park annual passes. Look out for the link on the Service NSW website when you reach the Finish page, after re-registering your vehicle online.

The discount only applies to 1-year All Park and Multi-Park Passes, and can't be used in conjunction with any other discounts. Normal annual pass conditions apply.

This discount is only available when a NSW vehicle registration is renewed online through the Service NSW registration renewal page."

You simply renew your NSW Car registration online and afterwards, it then asks if you would like to register for a NSW National Parks Pass.

Also note that this pass can be used for the renewing vehicle only. You can however get a houshold pass at 50%

Second household passes are available to holders of an All Parks Pass for vehicles registered at the same address. This must be verified by presenting a copy of registration for both motor vehicles and proof of purchase for the first All Parks Pass. The cost of second and any subsequent passes is 50% of the full price of an All Parks Pass. These will expire on the same date as the first All Parks Pass. Second household passes can only be purchased in person or by contacting the National Parks Contact Centre.

  • Ugh, I used the code to purchase a pass last year, and my pass renewal date and rego renewal date are exactly 6 months apart…

Now it's almost time for me to renew my pass, but I guess I can't get this deal anymore.

  • I renewed my to earlier this week. If you use Bpay to avoid credit card surcharges, you don't need the service NSW web site. Just get your pink and Green slip and pay via your bank and wait for the email receipt a few days later.

  • Damn, paid $65 a couple of weeks ago!

  • How often and how many nights do you need to camp to make it worthwhile?

If one intended to visit likes of Royal national park n many other that require a 8 to 12 dollar day pass to park then this pass is worth to support the park service, maintenance don't come cheap these days,

  • Why do I need a pass to go to the park?

    • +1

Otherwise you'll need to pay park entry fee or parking fee at many national parks, which is usually $8–12/day. If you go more than 5–6 times in a year, the pass is good value.

Only the parks that have improvements like paved roads, toilets, and nice picnic areas that require a fee. They use the money to pay for road resurfacing, clean and maintain the toilets, and maintain the picnic areas (replace tables when they're vandalised or burn down in bush fires). If you go to less popular national parks and don't mind driving on dirt roads, picnicking in more rugged surrounds, and using natural "bush toilets" then it's free.

  • I purchased this Feb last year at registration discount without doing registration and then found my wife was pregnant. Haven't got a chance to use it, maybe go to royal national park next week before it expires.
