  • Watch out - this stock might not all be all that it appears.
    For eg
http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?products_… (Nescafe 'original') is the WORST tasting coffee around, it's imported from Asia. Rather drink the dishwashing water after I'd cleaned the cups of it ;-)

  • Wow, good deal on the Vita-Weats, just checked my receipt from Woolworths, and it's $3 for one 250g pack.
    EDIT: Meh, it's cracked pepper.

  • yeah i skimmed through and some things definitely looked like good deals. $8 shipping cap helps too…

  • Awesome deals!!!!!!

  • Shipping is still a a rip off though for smaller items

    • If you buy 1 small item yes, but not if you buy a few items and average it out.

  • Cadbury individual bars are also half price at Coles this week. It's a better deal there, plus you know what you are getting, and can choose variety!

    • CoTD bars are 80g each
      OR
      Coles bars ear 60g each

       you decide ;)

Hehe, I'd STILL buy at Coles. :D

  • Shipping kills the bargain here, unless you buy a lot

    • Exactly, unless you buy a load it's not really worth the bother. Only really tempted by the Radiant Front loader stuff, but you can get Radiant powder for around $2.00 at the discount pharmacies most of the time anyway.

Just spent $40 inc. shipping :<

    <3 my Mentos.

  • haha the chupa chups deal were made in vietnam i received, id be careful to shop grocery online other than big supermarket names

    • +1

Unfortunately the chupa chups sold at coles/woolies aren't made in Australia either.

    • I noticed BigW sells Vietnamese Chuppa Chups, the packaging is covered in Vietnamese writing.

A rare miss from COTD I would say. There is nothing spectacular about the prices there, about on a par with cash & carry places. Add into that the $8 shipping on releatively low value items, unless you want to buy 6 or 7 items, it is hard to justify it the extra cost.

If it had free shippin I would be all over the cherry ripes! (and probably a few other things)

    • walk into a nearby coles and buy 48x cherry ripes for $44.16 as touched upon above…

Also taking a miss, which is rare. Not enough that's really great besides a couple but then the shipping costs…

      • i'd also have to admit i didn't get anything from this bunch of products either…
