Why is it so popular? It is not even 4K, it will look like a normal 1080p resolution after all only larger! why you didnt buy the 28" 4K one that was up last week for 390?
Because I was on the 4k hype train can't see crap on my 27" 1440p monitor.
Because 34" is bigger than 28" and $299 is a lot less than $390
But larger does not mean clearer! A 28" 4Kx2K is surely large enough to see your documents and clearer than 2Kx1K.
@Zeral: If you didn't see crap on your 1440p monitor, you won't see anything at 1080 monitor. The contrast comes from the resolution no matter what the size is. These are LCD not CRT!
Not all cases.
Games and bad apps don't scale the text and it gets even smaller with higher resolution, hence the 1080p will help.
1440p is basically in between 4k and 1080p
My aging eyes can hardly see the difference between 1080p and 1440p even on a 34" screen. So higher res (at much higher price) doesnt do anything for me.
They really need to fix up their website, truly disappointing.
No modern website should require you to change states to specifically to order state specific stock as instructed by the company.
