Cheapest price I've seen for a Steam version of the game. You will receive the game as a gift so make sure to login with the Steam account you want to activate the game on.

Payment methods have a small surcharge, not sure if any payment methods are surcharge free.

I’ve had bad experiences with key reseller websites like G2A and Kinguin especially with "steam gifts".

Once I purchased GTA V as a gift and it worked fine for a few days, but then all of a sudden I got a message from steam stating my access have been revoked due to a payment issue. Steam told me to contact the merchant, G2A told me to contact the seller, and the seller never replied and then G2A fell on deaf ears. Eventually 2 months later I got my money back as I paid with PayPal, but nevertheless after hours of going around a circle trying to.

TL;DR: DONT USE THESE WEBSITES UNLESS THE SELLER IS EXTREMELY RELIABLE AND IF YOU DO PLEASE PAY BY PAYPAL.

    • well.. is Kinguin reliable? anyone?

The problem is that your not buying from Kinguin but rather a seller kind of like eBay.

Bought from all kinds of resellers. Kinguin, g2a, g2play. The only thing to look out for when purchasing a key is that making sure the region is global. All keys are fine till this day.

It's been $37.49 a few times. I'd personally wait a bit and pay a little extra than buy a dodgy copy from Kinguin. To anyone looking to buy this, please do some research on the risks you're taking when you buy from a key reseller before you do so.

If it were up to me, "deals" like these should be banned from OzBargain.

    • There really is no risk. You buy it, if it doesn't work just lodge a chargeback. That's what everyone does.

  • Yeah, I steer clear of this site and G2A as I have seen a few horror stories.
I'd like a bargain, but to me it seems like there is a good chance of having grief after dealing with them.

  • Paid $40 when it came out. Steam traders are often more trustworthy than websites.

    • Where did you buy it from?
Is there a website for steam traders?

It's a different type of market, while PayPal is generally accepted, people deal with virtual currency like keys.

I used to use steamtrades, dispenser.tf - what's important is that you find someone with a clean reputation (Check steamrep, their account age + level, how many games they have).

It's not that much cheaper now, copies are going for around $30 aud.

        • I would rather pay $30-$40 on a steam trade site rather than one of these g2a or whatever.

I saw a Russian steam trade site but they were region locked.
I might check out dispenser.tf if I can't find this steamrrades site you're talking about.
I found a reddit page with it as well so I might give them a go, it seems like a good community with their own reputable sellers.

          Thanks for the info!!

        • @Hirolol:
No worries, reddit should be just as trustworthy. Try go for tradeable gifts or else you'll have to go first and yeah avoid region locked copies.

imo wait for a trusted source like CDkeys or ozgameshop to have it at this price, Kinguin/G2A aint good sources esp since they themselves arent selling

You will never get steam key from cd key sites. Steam keys are gift only because no steam keys were released. All physical copies are rockstar keys.

  • Is this still valid? Coming up as $48.26 for me
