100

I got this panel from latest catalogue. Its an online only deal. I selected Store pick up and they shipped it to my address free with a courier. It arrived 5 days later. The price of this pannel is at least $25 less than similiar ebay panels. Panel is well constructed and uses heavy gauge wire. It is intended for caravans etc but it will fit in the back of my 4wd
Dimmensions: 1006X664x35

what can i use this for?

Can i connect it to a battery and run some camping equipment off it?

Yes you need a solar charge controller hooked up to battery and you run stuff from battery. I run laptop and or 12v fridge, lights at night off a charged battery or simply an inverter for some low power AC applications like tv's etc.

You will also need a charger/regulator. Look for a MPPT charger, but watch out for units that use MPPT in model numbers etc, but are not MPPT chargers.
Depending on how many panels you want, will determine what is in series. The goal with the MPPT chargers is to run in series and push up the voltage to the charger. The one on my vehicle handles up to 100volt, and is a good size to aim for. Running 4 panels in series = 48v to 80v'ish possible. The higher voltage also lowers the current and therefore allows for thinner wiring to the controller from the panels.

  • Good price. Looking at the info on the Supercheap site, it appears they don't use the standard MC4 connectors, which some may need to change. Looks like they are being dumped, so there could be an issue we are not being told about.

    • They have bare wires coming out no connectors. Wires are pre tinned.

    • I am getting this error as well now only after selecting store. not sure if glitch or ozbargained already.

      • I'd guess it's a clearance product with minimal stock located only instore now.

  • I've marked it as out of stock not sure what else I need to do to mark it expired

  • Just a heads up. There are 1 or 2 sellers on ebay who have a 95/100w panel for $80 after the 20%.
