What does REFURBISHED MODEL mean? They can't be refurbished and BRAND NEW so which is it?

Great headphone. I strongly recommend them. Sound is phenomenal!! Great treble with the right amount of bass plus you can fold them up and put them in your bag.
Bought it at the last Ozbargain deal for $99 and use them every day for my commute to and from work.
