I bought a V6 Absolut before Christmas with the Amex $100 offer at HN (total $394 after price-match with Myer, so pretty happy with that :) ), so won't be buying another one anytime soon, but thanks for the heads-up about the HN clearance store OP - will have to check it out next time I'm at Innaloo. Whereabouts in Westfield is it?

Tried a couple of stores around brisbane, no luck.
Performance between v6 and v8 is not that great. Hopefully v10 changes the game
Hmmm, 15% increase in suction power, 100% increase in run-time and 27% larger dust bin between the v6 and v8.
It depends on your applications that you will be using the Dyson under, but some who wanted more run-time would say this is a significant increase.If you always think like that then you may as well wait 100 years to get the v10000000000 which will be more awesome.
This is $700 everyday at Costco. I'm still waiting for a cheaper price. Haha
