Worth getting?
Yes & no. Got one a few weeks ago for no real reason but thought it'd be good to compare with my existing CC2. The Ultra is stupidly fast & snappy however if you don't need 4K then that's about the only benefit so probably not worth it at this stage. Ethernet port is a great idea for those wanting to hard wire direct to their modem/router if convenient. I did experience an issue but it's not the fault of the Ultra… the audio sounded terrible! It had a digital 'ring' to it like a low sample rate even though it was connected to the same HDMI input I used for the CC2. Swapped it back over and the CC2 worked perfectly. Swapped it back over again and the Ultra still had the 'ring'. Connected the Ultra direct to my Receiver and it sounded perfect so yeah there's something in the Ultra that my 65" Bauhn can't handle. All good though as I'll probably be either reconfiguring the system soon anyway or maybe even buying a new TV so all good.
Tried to buy using gift card. Said the card cannot be used for this purchase. Any clues why?
