Navman Magellan Echo Fit Smart Watch (with Notifications for iOS) $29 Posted @ Deals Direct

90

Not the most Flashy Smart Watch but the feature that seems most useful is the notifications for iPhones (Phone calls, SMS, watsapp, Skype, etc). You can also control your music via the watch

Also uses a coin battery and claims a battery life of 3 months and SHOWERPROOF !

I honestly grabbed one as a cheap watch to receive notifications (without the need to charge it everyday)

  • Compatible with iPhone 4S, 5, 5C and 5S and Android 4.4 KitKat and above.

Does that include notifications. Specs dont specify

    • No it doesn't

*Receive phone and text alerts from your iPhone to your wrist. Keep your Echo Active app up to date to receive this feature. This feature is currently not available for Android products.

Yeah that explains the price. Was about to ozbargain myself and buy one blindly. Way too many negative experiences with it to even risk 20 bucks

      • Also 2014 technology.

  • Cheaper, 1/2 the weight and with dynamic heart rate monitor, mines 3 months old and works great with Android and works on iphone according to specs.
The app is surprisingly good as well.

    • will this show WhatsApp notifications (on Android)? And can you specify which apps in Android to get notifications from?

      • No, I just had a look, it has a switch to send data to Google fit, but otherwise its own app only plus the usual phone and message notifications, alarms, targets etc. set from the app.

  • Well I pulled the trigger for the price, reading the reviews it may be better on ios.
    Thanks OP.

  • On Groupon site, it was variable postage for the same product, it came up to $27.90 for me…so still slightly cheaper for me to buy it there :) I didn't buy it….I have no need…but for someone else who may want to buy it - every dollar counts ;)

  • An extra $20 to get one with a separate heart rate monitor seems decent…. if the watch is rubbish you may still be able to use the HRM with something else.

  • $40 for the heart monitor one, I wonder if I can get that for a cheap heart rate monitor

  • Just received mine and they have messed it up and sent the older blach echo model without in built step counter. I orderer the black echo fit model. Have sent complaint so will have to return it.

  • same thing happened to me - took forever to arrive. Thanks for the heads up because they look very identical but are in fact 2 seperate models - echo vs echo fit http://www.magellangps.com.au/Echo
