No need of other words I suppose, prices of their other games are not very good at the moment.

I used to buy Intellivision games from them
I'm a 7th generation Putnum, and legend has it a first generation Putnum once bought a ball in a cup from them.
PS1? I bought C64 games from them by mail order.
(really!)
Lol, I bought Amiga games from them.
same here, used to get their newsletters/catalogues (by snail mail) and used to get C64 and later Amiga games from them.
Until recently I didn't realise they were still around though!
wow… great price for The Last Guardian… was hoping to get the digital version but at this price i might have to venture to the store and pick it up….
I wonder if EB will price match
I've price matched from The Gamesmen at EBs before. As long as it's in stock and is a retail store, you can price match.
Just tried to price match at an EB near me and they won't price match unless the store is near you. Best price they could do was $72.
Better to support an independent having a go?
Agree
Agreed but I'm in Melbourne. This is ozbargain, if you can get out of shipping fees then all the better :)
They used to in the past but not anymore. I used to get both jb hifi and ebgames to price match with ozgameshop on regular basis but since the last year and half or so they both stopped. Guess it was loss making
Are the games sold at this shop sealed or are they like Ebgames claiming open games to be new?
The games I bought from them are sealed.
I refuse ebgames if they try to sell me open Games, some of them have obvious loose repackage you can easily tell when it's repackaged or not sometome they pull a disc from under the drawer. I tell them no thanks and force them to replace
got the blazblue chronophantsma extend ps4 for $20 from them and it's sealed with ps4 logo
Awesome game.
Totally recommend running it a 5.1 DTS system on a 4k monitor if possible
Awesome game play and amazing sound.
Lucky you said that. All the people with 4k tvs were going to play it on their 1080p screens instead.
Pretty sure anyone that can play it like that will by default.thanks for the downvote
im just saying this game really takes advantage of a proper dts setup and 4k resolution.
it looks amazing
whereas some guys dont take full advantage of this.
That guy.
I do swap between a large 4K tv and a lower latency 1080 monitor depending on the experience/game type I'm playing.
:D
And here I was about to play this on my crt tv and internal pc speaker.
Thanks my 4k tv and sound system is a much better option.
Judging by the number of upvotes here, I guess this game's price will drop in other major stores as well soon.
Thought SE meant Special Edition, to which the only one I was aware was the $199.95 collectors. Was shocked for a moment!
;-)
what does the SE stand for?
Probably standard edition.
In this case, I'm guessing he meant 'Standard Edition'. Kind of like complimenting someone on their incredibly ordinary features…
i just assume Special Edition when i first saw it as well…. odd to add SE for standard edition…. but I guess it's no different having the label Plain Flour :) lol
Just tried to price match EB in Melb. Called Sunshine, Watergardens, Airport West and Brimbank. No good. Guess I'll suck it up and pay for shipping.
Try JB then.
Tried JB Maribyrnong and Watergardens. Got tired of calling around. If anyone manages to price match in Melb could you post up receipt. I'll cancel my order with Gamesmen. Cheers
Just tried to price match at an EB near me and they won't price match unless the store is near you. Best price they could do was $72.
Varies with store manangers, but most EB's have the added variable of matching with stores you can get to, in persons, within reasonable distance(IE store in space shopping plaza).
Wow, I do admire your determination!
Sadly, due to the fact that we have one of the most overpriced postal services in the world, postage to Melbourne being approx $7 kills it for me somewhat. Target has spoilt me on prices lately.
Good to see it's this cheap somewhere already.
Seems like if you have to get it delivered (at least to WA) then OZ Game Shop is cheaper $54.99 (also looks like it has 4% cash rewards) so should be $52.79.

Try price matching with mighty ape.com they normally do it. Did the new don bradman for me
checkout ozgameshop guys, enter the coupon code 'shipme', just worked for me with free shipping. Can't wait to play this game, cheapest around, enjoy chaps!
I did post this a couple of comments above, though it seems to have free shipping without the code. The shipping seemed to be the same (i.e. not express) but I might have missed something.
You are 100% correct, the shipping code is accepted but it doesn't affect the price.
Has this been optimised for the old PS4? Or do you need a slim/pro for this to run properly (i.e. stable 30 fps)?
Any PS4 will do
That's not what I read.
https://youtu.be/g48ZELS0tyw?t=288
20-30fps on the old PS4 on 1080p. Only a solid 30 fps on PS4 Pro.
Where did you read that it has been optimised for the old PS4?
since you have the answer for your own question,I will be out of it.
Game worked out cheaper for me, but only because I bought the PS4 Pro with bonus controller deal in the same order so the shipping for it covers the game as well… Probably not a great solution for everyone though… :-P
It is out of stock/OZbargained now.
$39 at Target starting tomorrow (2/1) for those who missed out.
Actually amazed these guys are still kicking. Picked up my PS1 from them back in the day.
