Wow this is a 25% discount on a great drone with I believe a 20 flying time and HD stabilized video. I have the first version and love it!

Would be better putting the money towards a phantom 4 or mavic pro.
The size and weight of this is where it fits in the market. I got it for a 6 month trip and just clipped it to my carry on, 500gram and small. Admittedly the Mavic Pro is smaller now but it's double the price. Phantom is double the size
Hi Wezzer I'm wanting a drone for overseas travel. Would you still recommend this drone or any others? Cheers
I would recommend it still, I used it in the snow, reasonable wind, crashed it and it still works well. Replacement props on ebay were about $5 a set, get plenty of spares. The app to fly is is free, but get the flight planner for $20 after a few crashes due to phone malfunctions (water on screen) I only used the flight planner. Set a course, press play, and off it goes, even if it looses connection it finishes the course. If you do get one and want some hints, send me a PM. If you can see this video it shows how it really performs using auto flying. https://www.facebook.com/wezzer86/videos/10157901312165422/
@Wezzer: hey thanks very much! I definitely will! Cheers
@Wezzer: I tried that link you posted but it says it's expired?
For travel, assuming it's for selfie photos get a selfie drone. I can highly recommend the Zerotech Dobby. It is high quality with a lot of features for the price and is the size of a phone (in length and wodth, but obviously thicker). I am actually traveling with it now around the middle east.
Cheaper here http://www.drontech.com/en/ postage its 35euro I bought mine off these guys eBay store when it first came out and it was only $720aud
$532 AUD for just the drone
$653 AUD With drone, new controller an FPV goggles
$656 AUD With drone, new controller an FPV goggles and carry bagAs far as I know, Parrot warranty applies where you bought it. Are you telling us that if we buy from that site warranty is covered in Australia?
No I'm not, I don't know about warranty. I'm telling you where it's $200 cheaper. If you had to post it back to them for warranty you would still be better off.
From what I've seen, the DJI Phantom 3 Standard had better video quality. I also worry about the durability of this drone. The skycontroller does give you greater distance but the DJI gives enough range for the legal limit.
I'm really tempted though. I had the AR Drone 2.0 which sucked video quality wise.
It's either this, the DJi Phantom 3 Standard or the Xiro Xplorer V?
I can't make up mind yet.Parrot are toys not pro drones. Dji makes pro level drones
What do people use these for?
Perving.
Dropping bombs.
Shooting people. All depends who owns it. :)
Save up for Marvic pro!
Would anyone get this over a DJI Phantom Standard which is $140 cheaper elsewhere?
