Spotted this offer on lowendbox and reckon it's a good deal for small hosting in Australia. I haven't used them before so can't comment on reliability. I'm going to grab one and see how it goes. From LEB:

    virtual private server, not vpn. VPS is a (virtual)server within a (physical)server, works mostly the same as a physical one. A VPS can be used for VPN too.

      That is a good deal. More transfer but not DDOS protected which may interest some. Might have to grab one of these too at the price. 😊

      Edit: just noticed they're not an Australian provider. I was trying to keep it local.

  It's actually not a special lowendbox offer as $9.95/month "Mini" plan was actually listed on their Virtual Cloud Servers page. It has got a lot cheaper since OnACloud first listed their VPS deals here 15 months ago. The price is certainly just trying to get people in the door, as the next step up "Small" plan with 2x the resources but 3x the price.

    Seems like sticking with Vultr is a good idea for now. 10x the data too.
