  • Add prices to your post, any reason to use this over AWS or digital ocean?

    • Sorry there are lots of options and pricing varies you are best to check the site.

Main advantage over AWS or Digital Ocean is we are 100% Australian owned and staffed including our support staff which are in house (not outsourced).

Short wait times on phones and fast response times on email.

Servers are hosted in Sydney. All enterprise grade hardware, multiple redundant transit and peering connectivity to our network including DDOS mitigation.

P.S. I'm not in Marketing/Sales just another ozbargainer sharing some deals from my work.

    • I'm not affiliated with either but I was curious as well (currently have a $10 DO droplet), this is for the cheapest VPS from Crucial versus the equivalent (in specs) digital ocean droplet.

      Specification Digital Ocean Crucial
      RAM 1GB 1GB
      CPU 1 Core 1 Core
      SSD Storage 30GB 25 GB
      Monthly Transfer 2TB 500GB
      Monthly Cost $10USD (~$14AUD) $29.90AUD

So if you buy a yearly subscription and apply the 50% off it's pretty competitive but I'm personally a bit reluctant to commit to a full year for a service I haven't tried before.
