I bought the Braun blender, used twice and the motor stopped! Anyone know can I go back to Good Guys or I have to claim warranty?

ACL says it's the retailer's responsibility.

Bought the shaver last time, worth the price IMO. Only felt a bit uncomfortable on my skin for the first 2 or 3 times shave, probably because the blade was new. Good shaver overall, the battery is very good too.

    • The battery really depends on the brand of battery you put into it.

      • I use the cheap batteries sold in Target (28-pack for $1), also use the shaver everyday. It's been a month now, and the batteries seem still strong.

      • You make your primary school math teacher proud!

        • Whilst your primary school English teacher laments.

    • Yep - I just walked into a Shavershop and bought one on the spot for $9.95.
Should be ok for a Secret Santa gift.

    Is this good for pubes?

    • +2

If your pubes are longer than 0.5cm, I don't recommend this.

    • +10

depends if they are yours or not.

These are the best ones for pubes.. You can't cut yourself (disclaimer: I personally haven't cut myself doesn't mean anyone else can)

      • I read a few reviews about the foil needing replacement soon. How are you finding it?

        • haven't had to as yet.. i do take it apart and clean it but i think maybe another 2 more uses before i have to change it.. but i do find it really good.. you can use it in the shower too

Only 2 star reviews on ProductReview but it's cheap

Those reviewers seem like a pack of idiots… "I smashed dis in mah eye and now mah eye done hurt real bad, dangerus", "I can't give haircuts with this shaver, zero stars", "I dropped it on concrete and it dun broke, should be concrete-proof."

    Love the review:

If I rubbed my face with my hand it would be more effective at removing hair than this rubbish. It's like s toy for a child that pretends to do what daddy does. It vibrates and makes all the noises but cuts no hair. Avoid at all costs!

Based on my experience that review is entirely accurate.

Did anyone else think this was a fat USB stick?

    • +1

Hey that's an idea… add in USB charging!

The Philips one I bought is a tosser. Ping me if anyone likes a swap.

  • Good for bum fluff. Not good for real men.

    • Real men grow their bum fluff, and the fluffier the manlier.

  • Got this for my husband, and then popped over to Woolies to get AA batts at half price. Thanks for the recommendation!

  • Good deal.

  • Thanks Scotty!

My 4.5 year old Ronson kettle died 3 days ago and so I bought the Russell Hobbs Siena Kettle for $39 yesterday!

So far work really well except for some tiny amount of smoke coming from the on/off button.
