Super Cheap Auto Microfiber Cloth 25 Pack Now $25 - Was $49.19

190

Came across this while looking for other car care products today. Works out to be $1 per microfiber cloth. Can't comment on the quality as I haven't used SCA brand before but seems like good value.

  • Not that great Matsers used to sell them for $9.95 for 35

    • Nice price, though obviously that didn't work out very well for them…!

      The ones at masters are very different to The super cheap ones. Supercheap ones are larger and better quality IMO

      • Yeah, the Masters ones are larger and much thicker material (with stitches edges) whereas the Masters ones were much thinner, with zigzagging edging… from memory anyway. Still - $25 for these SCA ones is a bargain… doubt anyone in their right minds would pay $50 for a pack.

          Wait I'm confuse thought Masters was one store.

    If you don't need that many in one go, there are smaller ones at kmart which are quite ok too (30x35cm) for $4 everyday

  • Any comments on the quality?

      Crap, they are thin as.

      These are the bomb for polishing by hand https://www.bunnings.com.au/morgan-microfibre-cleaning-cloth…

      • Microfiber cloths aren't used for applying polish, although they can be used for buffing/removing polish. Thin ones can be used just fine for cleaning interiors or even to have as disposable cloths in case of bird bombs.

          They work very well for polishing/cutting/compounds etc, the ones from bunnings aren't very abrasive so whichever product you're using is doing all the work. They're thick and hold a lot of product or whatever your rubbing back. I also use them for metal polishing (bare aluminum etc)

          Works real well with this http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/Nu-Finish-Liquid-Po…

          @storyteller:
          You've confused me again. You should not be using microfiber cloths for applying polish and especially not compounds. If you must do it by hand, then use a foam pad.

    • SCA home brand quality. These are way overpriced.

      • Compared to what are these overpriced?

  • A bit too late but repco had 36 for $19 that ended today.
