This deal is back on, credit to Jutsu for posting.

Bluetooth / Wi-Fi, 80W, HDMI 2.0A HDCP 2.2 (6 inputs / 1 output), Dolby Atmos / DTS:X, Audyssey MultEQ, AirPlay, Pandora, Spotify Connect, SiriusXM Streaming, Remote App Control via Smartphones

Total price is €293,28 plus €78,60 shipping to Australia. I don't see any options to ship in an Amazon box so this may ship in it's original packaging.

No local warranty, but the best local price for this I've seen is $1075 so you are saving 50%.

  • Set mine up yesterday, which I got from the previous Amazon.de deal.

It's a cracking little receiver, and subjectively sounds a bit nicer than the Onkyo it replaced (possibly because it has better EQ).

If you can get by with 5 HDMI inputs round the back, it's a great choice.

    • How long did delivery take?

      • +1

2 weeks (it would have been less, but Australia Post sent it to the wrong distribution centre).

I bought mine on the 30th Nov, Got an email saying it was sent on the 5th Dec and received it on the 9th Dec

Can I ask a question, If you bought the X2300w, is Pandora showing in "Online Music"? , as it isn't on mine

  • Look like a pretty awesome amp.
Almost makes me want to start looking at speakers again and ditching the soundbar

  • Google 'Denon HDMI issue'. It's a good deal but personally wouldn't buy one without local warranty.

    • +1

Unlike Onkyo, there doesn't appear to be a systemic issue with Denon's HDMI boards.

Also, the fact it's less than half local price means that if it goes bang, you can ship another one out and be no worse off…

  • A bit hesitant due to no warranty. Ordered an Onkyo atmos system last year from amazom.de and the amp broke a month ago.

Any comments on the failure rate of Denon vs Onkyo?

    • I had the Onkyo 609 from Amazon that succumbed to the know HDMI issue that they were repairing outside of warranty. I contacted Onkyo in Germany and ended up posting it to them for about $100 and they repaired and payed for return postage. It was a far from smooth process but got there in the end. Might be worth contacting them for repair if it's still under warranty.

      • Thanks, I will give it a shot.

  • my denon mono blocks have been going for 19 years ….. my AVR1912 for about 6 years….. you do have to be unlucky to get amp to die, and it's hard to know people individual circumstances e.g how clean is your power.

Thks, grabbed one time a new amp and the AVR1912 goes into my sons bedroom or Ebay.

Sad thing is even with 78EU postage it's still cheaper than local …… and 78EU is much more than the GST on a $450 amp ….. so it's not a GST issue,

  • I've got a denon avr 3801 that I bought at auction of fire/smoke damaged store stock. Strong smoke smell when I bought it that since dissipated. Used daily for 15 years with no issue.

    • A smokin' hot deal then?

  • Also had 15 year old fire damaged denon that I've given to a mate,
just don't turn them up to max volume and leave going for hours
No hdmi on older model though

  • Bought, thank you OP

I missed out on the X2300W deal a couple of weeks back, but actually for the better as deep down I wanted the X1300 more

  • Need to buy some decent speakers now, any recommendations?

    • B&W
