      Probably, its an adult small

      • haha ya, that's what I thought.

One game delivery showing as $3.50, same cost for up to 3 games,
    $5 for 4 - 7 games,
    $7.80 for 8+
… and then I got bored adding stuff I didn't really want anyway. :/

    • When i added Devils Third new to my cart on its own shipping is $9.74 so not all games have cheap shipping.

    • Shipping is odd. Shipping is $3.50 for some games and much more for others.

      • It has EB tax on it :)

  • my score:

Batman: Arkham Knight - Game of the Year Edition - Playstation 4 - $36.00

    The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition - PlayStation 4 - $35.00

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition - PlayStation 4 - $45.00

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Legacy Edition - PlayStation 4 - $77.00

    Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection - PlayStation 4 - $47.00

Song of the Deep - Collectors Edition - Xbox One - $18.00 <—- Betcha they are going to refund this and say they couldn't find it

    Mafia III - Deluxe Edition - PlayStation 4 - $59.00

    • Song of the Deep - Collectors Edition - Xbox One - $18.00 <—- Betcha they are going to refund this and say they couldn't find it

I agree. I was eyeing this one for a while and I've given up on it. Last week, only one store in the whole of Aus had it.

    • Song of the deep - collectors disappeared after about 30 mins.

    • Song of the Deep - Collectors Edition - Xbox One - $18.00 <—- Betcha they are going to refund this and say they couldn't find it

Did you end up getting this shipped? it went back up after it was taken down and I managed to get one and it was shipped out yesterday. :)

    • It was previously $19 and has been since the beginning of the Christmas sale. I got a PS4 copy (that had sold out before Mad Monday) so you should be right to get your XBOX One copy.

  • Pokemon isn't even marked at $46 it's $54 which is still suppose to be an "exclusive sale" even though I can walk into other and get it for $49 not to mention there's $5 postage so it's still $59 anyway… WTF EB Games now I remember why I don't buy from you.

    • Wasn't $46 one of the 30 minute sales?

      • Yea, 7pm to 7:30pm AEST.

        Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Also, I'm getting strange postage costs. $3.50 for 1 game, ~$13 for 2 games!

    • Did read the part where it said 7-7.30pm in the catalogue?

Is there benefit in getting a Steam Link when I already have a HTPC connected to my TV where I can use Steam In-Home streaming?

    http://store.steampowered.com/streaming/

    • no

    • +2

Also no … I was looking at getting one, but can run 1080P constant 60fps over ethernet to my $150 Intel NUC (Celeron).
Then I managed to get my PS4 controller paired over bluetooth - no need for the Steam link or controller now

Remember to Paypal so you can just dispute it if EB get up to their previous antics

  • Adding random single games to my cart. Do you think it may be safe to assume that if the shipping cost is low, then it will be fulfilled at the warehouse otherwise if the shipping cost is high, then it will be fulfilled in store and best to avoid like the recent sale debacle if you want new sealed games .

"Shipping is calculated based on the size, weight, and distance for the order as a whole"

      • +4

Maybe I should get them to explain how shipping works in this scenario.
I added a game that I got in the last sale that was fulfilled from a store looking more preowned than new.

        Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst PS4
        Shipping: $9.06

Remove above and added this to the cart that was fulfilled from the warehouse in brand new sealed condition.

        Fallout 4 PS4
        Shipping: $3.50

If shipping is calculated based on the size, weight, and distance for the order as a whole, can someone tell me exactly how different in weight are these games for the discrepancy in shipping cost.

Add both of them together in the same cart and shipping is $12.56

Buy only 2 copies of Fallout 4 and shipping is still $3.50.

Seems to me that it is indicating that they are shipped from different locations.

        • I agree with your theory. Last night postage for 1 copy of Bravely Second - End Layer 3DS was $3.50, now it's $9.06

        • "Seems to me that it is indicating that they are shipped from different locations."

This is 100% correct some items will post from stores and some will post from their warehouse they have stated this on twitter.

        • I was eyeing the Deus Ex steelbook edition and shipping was like $3.50 before but now its up to $9 so I guess this explains it.

        • @Jetship: I wish they would just take it back to the old way, or give us a option like warehouse only…

  • Wanted to get Fallout 4 as well but with the shipping price being more then 10% of the product price i dont really know.

The last sale was the (profanity) worst, all the games I got where damaged or in bad condition. I'm sure they have heaps of Fallout lying around so you probably get a sealed copy but i'm not risking this any more.

Loving seeing a ton of games I ordered the other week and got told they didnt have…. listed again for a much higher price.

    {claps}

    • +4

ebgames are the worst. They are the ones who keep game prices high because they demand that publishers set a higher RRP in Australia to cover their fat margins. They do more dodgy deals than Dick Smith did. This is one retailer in the market I would not miss.

  • Steam Link and Bravely Second - End Layer. Awesome!

  • Feel like an idiot paying $129 for cod legacy edition now

  • Is watch dogs CE good for $58 ?

    • I decided to get it. Reviews seem to say that it's some light-hearted, sometimes cringy fun.

      • +2

i would get it if it didnt have the $8 postage

  • +1

The hourly deals look like they are the exact same specials for the 24 hour sale, just slightly cheaper. When you add postage each time you order per hour you arent saving much.

  • Steam link sold out? I can't seem to find it

    • yeah I assume they must be gone, I do not see them either

    • yeah must have sold out. Not showing for me either

  • COD legacy edition is $80.5 shipped! Very tempting. Missed out the watchdogs 2 SE though. I will wait if there are more deals coming.

    • Wait until after Christmas for Watchdogs 2 CE. I remember AC Syndicate with the statue was going for $47 and they were everywhere. My local store has about 10-15 of these with statues in the one store alone. They will still be around and might even go lower still.

Floor space in a store is a premium so things that occupy a good portion of it has to move sooner rather than later.

    • It's back again…

  • Got Doom, Fallout 4 and Drive Club for $20 each, Rise of the Tomb Raider for $47, Elder Scrolls online for $15, a controller for $81 and BF1 for $77 (hopefully that won't be on sale too soon…. I hate paying over $50 for a game but BF1 is the reason I got the PS4 Pro).

    • I picked up battlefield 1 from big w a couple of weeks ago for $49 haven't tried it yet.

      • +1

Lol same here, bought the PS4 version but have no PS4 yet to play
Quite fun staring at the artwork though :)

        • Damn! :)

Wonder if I can cancel that part of the order?

        • +1

I have a ps4 but have too many other games to get through and not a lot of spare time to play them.

    • That ROTTR price wasn't discounted.

  • Thinking of upgrading my PS3.

    PS4 Pro & 4 games $599 in this sale.
    https://ebgames.com.au/ps4-801062-1TB-PlayStation-4-Pro-Cons…

Is this a good buy or should I wait for the boxing day sales??

    • If you want the games then yes, bit of a hassle offloading them otherwise. Looking to pick a Pro up too, I have a feeling a better deal will be had sometime soon.

  • Wanted Doom for $20, but they charge $3.50 shipping. It's a fair price, but I'm certain it will appear cheaper digitally some time soon. It was ~$18 not long ago. I don't need the disc or case since it's just the Steam key that matters.

  • picked up the steam link for $36.
    paid $10 delivery, express.
    arrived this morning at 9am.
    fantastic deal and excellent delivery.

set it up and it's pretty damn cool.
able to play non steam games too.
    integrated well.
really really well done bit of kit.
can see almost no reason for me to buy a console now.

    • We were getting the kids an xbox for christmas but i grabbed a steambox as well. Looks like it should be good.

      • the non-steam thing really sold it to me.
        enjoy!

  • Anyone else have their steam link still in "processing" status?

Getting bad feeling about it … waiting to see the uh oh email …

  • Received my delivery today. Surprisingly I received Song of the Deep Limited Edition on Xbox One. The postcards are hand written in gold pen with a number out of 3000. Pretty nice.

They screwed up my Titanfall order unfortunately. I received the PC version instead of PS4. Anyone know the quickest/easiest way to contact them?

    • +1

Ring their customer care number. Facebook/Email can be a bit iffy, best to ring them directly and you shouldn't have to wait long :)

      • Thanks for the info.

        • If you are near one, take it to your local EB, they will sort out your online orders no worries.

  • Estimated delivery: Tue 3rd Jan 2017 :(

Edit: Saw this on their FB page.

Thanks for getting in touch with us about your order.

The estimated delivery dates that we were provided with by Australia Post for Mad Monday orders are incorrect.

Our team is working as quickly as possible to process the huge amount of orders placed during Mad Monday and we are confident that all orders will be packed and sent for delivery by Friday. Look out for the status of your order changing in the near future and for a confirmation email from us as your order is shipped.

If there is anything else we can assist with, please do not hesitate to send us through a private message here: http://bit.ly/MessageEB -Kang

My order was going surprisingly smooth until I got sent a blue/yellow new 3DS cover plate instead of a Mario cover plate. If you're working in EB games and don't know what Mario looks like, I think there's some educating to do.
