Falls foul of Australian Surveillance laws. You risk fines and or jail time for using as advertised.

How so if: "Under Section 7 of the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979, you cannot lawfully intercept a communication passing over a telecommunications system"??

        • It is legal to use a listening device to record a private conversation in certain circumstances if it is in the public interest or where, for example, it is to protect the best interests of a child.

@Diji1: Good luck trying that in court after you get caught listening to your girlfriends calls :P

    • Couldn't agree more fenric. This software is illegal in most jurisdictions, the use of it would be considered a criminal act for the majority of usage scenarios, and anything gathered would be inadmissible in court given it would be considered 'fruit of the poison tree'.

      • Had to google the "fruit of the poison tree" reference. Interesting. I had never heard of it.

Don't force your child deeper under cover.

Keep an open dialogue, by being trustworthy.

Listening to someone brag about eavesdropping on his 13 year old daughter's sexting was the creepiest thing I heard this year.
