Hi all, I was Masters Braybrook this evening and they kept announcing over the PA that there was an extra 50% off the final price at the POS. That said, the store was rather barren. I have no idea if this is applicable to other stores or not or even if it will be any good for future days at Braybrook, we are down to the last week.

Any external doors? And do you mean hawthorn?
Oops yeah hawthorn. There were doors though im not sure what type they have left (as my parents went and got one for inside).
Thank you
Ditto for Canberra but that place is gutted anyway.
Got 40% extra off cupboard handles today that were already 90% off. Receipt denoted Managers Special. This was at Albion Park Rail, NSW.
Masters Adelaide Airport still has lots of Hafele cabinet handles. Mostly they are the long or strange shaped ones. Marked down from $29 to $1 each.
They really should combine outlets and just price everything at dollar prices at this stage.itherwise not really worth the effort going to a store now
Yeah right. As long as it's near my home not yours!
location isn't my first issue with this final sale tbh :P
What stock was left at braybrook?
My masters were selling isles or shelves of products. Whole isles of products were going for $200. My partner wanted a water feature pump.. It scanned at $83 from $450. We asked if it could be cheaper, but the salesman said not unless you buy the whole shelf. I asked how much for the whole shelf full of more water feature pumps and other bits and he said $25..that was for the whole lot. So based on all the price tags on the products we have, there is easily $3000 worth of stuff.. All for only $25.
The light globes (4 full shelves and a pallet) were sold for $150 to other customers. There were bargains to be had.. But really not much in the store left. Was sad to see.. Even employees were crying (obviously their last day) :-(
Went to Hawthorn Melburne yesterday. People were coming and leaving with nothing. Nothing of much use to anyone.
Any external doors?
I had a look in East Hawthorn today.
Yes, - a few external doors - standard low-end with simple rectangle of frosted glass, a few variations on the same theme. Maybe 6 or so in one section at the end of an aisle and one or two scattered elsewhere.
I'm after a door myself but these weren't tempting for me, even with the price reductions. All I came out with was some paint and a few fake potatoes! Seriously… there was a box of fairly realistic pretend potatoes and garlic cloves for 25c each. My kids thought they were great.
They had some paint, stainless steel door handles, trellis type things I didn't look at. Light fittings, vertical type lamps.
Fake potatoes sound awesome
lol you sound really excited about the potatoes.
I'm just after a plain door to replace the garage door. Nothing fancy.
Or might even move the entrance door to the garage and replace with a new door if i can find something.@wikiwiki: google all the stores in the area your prepared to drive to, and go for a look
See if you can get a bundle price if you find something, anything
But I wouldn't be fussy till you get at least one door under your belt@Beach Bum:
Thanks BeachBum… i don't know what i'd do with 20 external doors though lol
Then there's the issue of getting them home.@wikiwiki: well you should try strapping them on the back of the bike like me!
coomera had extra 50% off today/tomorrow but it's extremely bare.
people were also buying whole shelves.. a guy bought all the chain rolls.. don't know what price he got.(they are down to a few half-aisles and a couple of open areas)
Only trade electrical and plumbing were the extra 50% off at my local masters today.
Yesterday, Roxborough Park were offering extra 50% off if you bought all the stock of a single product.
at Box Hill a couple of weeks ago, they had a playset (Bellewood Fort and Swing) for $400ish, don't suppose anyone knows if thats still there???
Im going there in an hour or so I'll have a look and let you know
when i was there, they were outside the restrooms, next to this huge concrete table
Looks to be gone. There is an 'action' swing set, though not sure of price
@shapers:
Yeah looking at it now.. Model S001460-2V.
But says box 2 of 2 and I don't see box 1
Any bargains to be bought? Or just advertising for PA last night?
At Braybrook store now, asked about the extra 50% off, staff said it was only for last night, no extra 50% off at checkout today.
Yea prices back up again
Still I bought some crapIs there anything worth buying? Looking for weed killer
I saw people buying wipe on round-up sticks before the weekend but nearly everythings gone now
Was some slug Killa for a buck fityThanks, I'm after the concentrated stuff. I doubt they'll have any
@bti_jet: Bindi Killa then round-up were the first things to go
@Beach Bum: thought so, cheers
So this post should be deleted
Browns plains is pretty much empty
So's richlands. Springfield still has some random stuff
You have to pinch tools from staff if they put it down to find anything decent.
Unfortunately all the rubber mallets at the paint shop have paint shop written on them next to the barcode
If anyone run across some cartridge filters for a 3m mask in SEQ
Missed out, was 3 boxes full at richlands before the weekend
Damn Xmas parties
anyone been to williams landing recently ? I was there last week , they still had stuff on the floor… shelves pretty empty and they had paints too
They ded. I was there at 1pm and they said they were closing "in an hour", there was a 20m^2 area near the door of random garbage: Draw/door handles, miscellaneous conduit fittings, some heated towel rails without the allegedly necessary transformers, rubber toilet washers, hi-vis masters jackets, house/letterbox numbers, and a pile of kitchen rubbish bin lids.
Was at northland (melb) midweek.
Was offered their entire remaining kitchen cabinet stock for $200…cupboard doors, end panels, etc but no cabinets. Said no.
Tens of thousands worth at RRP.
Was at bunnings yesterday. Very nice of their brand kaboodle to provide cabinets and panels of exactly the same size. So anyone missing pieces of their made up masters kitchen can use kaboodle to fill the gaps.
Same today at camberwell
