Go OZBARGAIN!!
I saw the article and got excited, so posted it first and then read it.
The guy in the picture is how I think all of our members look like.
Less clothes and more eneloops would be accurate.
I am now picturing you in lingerie lying on a bed of eneloops.
Not how I thought my day would go.
With 50% off at Victoria's Secret….. that can be arranged ;)
He got Asian male correct…
what is your imagination of an average ozbargainer ? :D
A Mortgage broker with an unhappy wife
@Crownie: LOL!
For the record, I don't look like him haha
I'm getting Bentley Flying Spur luxury car advertising on this page. Ozbargain has gone mainstream, high-end now.
Now we need to find out what's Liam's username is.
i see someone…….
who's that guy ?
you tell me…..LOL!
Oh man I forgot about the hungry jacks whopper meal for $2. That was a staple diet back then
Hahaha this comment:
I've got a friend who is into this. It's to the point now where his life is nothing but a relentless hunt for bargains - on anything at all. He's descended to the point where he's addicted to coupons like a gambler is to the pokies.
It's quite sad to see.
I remember once he bought a terrible quality telescopic fishing rod on special. It broke first cast, and he was devastated. Another friend and I easily caught fish all afternoon with our premium fishing rods.*
I hope he seeks professional help, and finds substance in his life.
someone needs to post.
My mate and i bought the exact same premium fishing rod.
Thanks to OzB i didn't pay full price, but my mate did.
I then had enough money to buy a boat and he didn't.
haha good one!
I hope he seeks professional help, and finds substance in his life.
Once there are bargains for these I'm sure he'll be all over it.
"the wife hates it…She hates the site because she likes to pay full price"
Grounds for a divorce
Hahaha. Birdseed bread featured.
"She hates the site because she likes to pay full price. She's accepted it now. She goes OK, you're going to read about it online, and then buy it – three days later."
Three weeks later, Tom found a 70% off deal on divorce lawyers.
Doh, beaten :( got too excited while reading the article!
OMG, read the articles and think I need help, I am a bargain addict!!!!
What I'd like to know from the mods is if there was a spike in signups after the article was published.
No spike in signups. Also referrals from TheAge + SMH + CanberraTimes + WAToday + BrisbaneTimes add up to less than 1% of traffic yesterday, i.e. insignificant.
Just an 'Employee' tag there scotty? Wow lol
I just posted the November stats. Re: your question.
The Age was ranked 26th and The Sydney Morning Herald 30th in referrals in November:
26. theage.com.au 2,885 (vs 996 in October)
30. smh.com.au 2,356 (vs 1,880 in October )
Traffic from the 2 sites:
This Olympics article from August generated 482 sessions for the month vs. the OzBargain article with 189 sessions.
I posted too. Missed by 3 Min .
