MDR-ZX330BT was once $37.98. Which makes this a so-so of a deal even with AMEX credits.

Where were they once $38? Silence……….

      • It was the Sony damaged box sale, and then you add/use $30 vouchers code. Something like that..

        • This deal here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/231468

So why is this not a deal at this price?

These are brand new boxed stock whereas the other one was a one off "damaged box" sale and in conjunction with a $25/30 voucher.

@Maverick-au: 99% sure that the ones that people received were brand new and boxes weren't damaged, including the one that I received.

Did you miss the quotes I put around it? It was a one off sale that is not available anymore.

        • So why is this not a deal at this price?

So I never said it wasn't a deal. I said it was a soso deal? Just putting facts up so people can compare what prices were like back at the start of the year.

I answered your question and showed you. Not arguing :)

  • if only it is not black….

  • Can somebody please provide their reviews if you own one? This will be my first purchase of a bluetooth headphone and i will be primarily using to connect to a TV.

Have a look here. Personally I wouldn't get these ones because the pair I bought from the "box damaged" sale have 30 hour battery life as opposed to 8 hours for the model here.

      • Not bad, people complaining about cheap built and battery life only which is not much concern for me as I am not a daily user.

      Here's one - http://www.testfreaks.com.au/headphones-headsets/sony-mdr-zx…

      • Thats different model (ZX330BT). The deal is on ZX220BT. Anyways bought one. Lets see.

    • Got one, mainly watching from my tablet to not wake my partner. It's perfect for that.

They are perfectly decent wireless headphones but don't recommend getting these primarily for watching tv. As the signal is transmitted via bluetooth there is a slight lag between what is on the screen and what you hear.
They do pair very nicely if you are watching on a mobile device or simply want to listen to music/podcasts.
For the price point, it is still a good buy.

      • Any other model you recommend to connect with TV with minimal/no lag?
