If anyone is after the Steelbook Edition (and also PAL region), you can get the Steelbook Edition for $25~ from Base.com

    • how is base, they legit and deliver on time ?

      • I've ordered many times from them. I've had games delivered in a week (5 business days) but I've also had one game take three weeks to arrive. They state 10 business days and for the most part that's about right.

I've had an item lost in the mail from them but after the waiting period (20 business days) I contacted them and they sent out another one, no questions asked. Was impressed I didn't have to go through any hoops to get a replacement.

They've always got solid prices on a lot of games, I check my wishlist most days for bargains :)

Thanks I'll go ahead and order

    • I have US PSN+. Can you play online in any region with any region of the game?

e.g. Can I play my US version game on PAL servers?
e.g. 2. Can I play PAL version game on US servers?

Sure can! I believe the DLC is locked to region but apart from that you're good to go!

        • Does the game automatically match you to games by ping, or is it by version of the game and PS+ region?

        • @lostn:

Someone on Reddit has stated that you choose your region when you make your account. I remember making my account and selecting a country.

        • @Kugz: Yeah, that determines whether you are on US PSN or AU PSN. Different store, different pricing, different promos and DLC region.

But can AU players play against US players? If you've bought US PSN instead of AU PSN, does the game try to match you with AU players first?

        • @lostn:

Not sure. It could try and judge it all by latency when matchmaking - I've noted that some games do have a geographical limit on match making

    • Thanks ! Purchased one.

  • how fast is amazon shipping to oz in general?

    • Pretty quick, it states 9-12 business days on the site, but I've had items delivered the same week before.

      • Depend on what time you place the orders. But usually very quick, just 4-5days for me from Amazon UK

    • Shipping time is usually within 2 weeks.

But I have a huge complaint about Amazon packing. Unlike in years past, they really skimp on the packaging nowadays. If you buy a game or movie, they will put it in a bubble envelope and by the time you get it, from all the handling, the cover will have dents in it from the holes in the plastic case. For a collector this will look bad.

They like to ship items separately, so instead of the game being in the box with your other goodies it will come in a bubble envelope.

But even their box packaging is poor. Sometimes you get a bubble bag, which is not secure, other times you get an oversized box with no packaging material at all.

      Leaving packaging feedback does nothing.
