EDIT: Actually I'm not sure sorry I thought it was much slower.
Yes.. it is according to Sandisk themselves:

https://www.sandisk.com.au/home/ssd/ssd-plus
960GB SSD plus: Read: 535MB/s Write 450MB/s
960GB Ultra II: Read: 550MB/s Write 500MB/s
Doesnt say, but the Ultra II will most likely do more IOPs than the SSD Plus. So it is worth the extra 10 bucks US
Are these decent enough for the new PC I'm building? Or should I be looking for deals on the Samsung 850?
Not much difference between this and an 850 Evo. IMO this is fine.
Bought the Crucial for US $99 yesterday due to the confidence in the brand, I'd prefer a 1tb but hadn't bought a SanDisk ssd previously are they of similar quality?
SanDisk SSD performance is similar with Crucial, a bit slower than Samsung 850 for really intensive operations (unlikely to be noticeable unless one has them side by side).
In other words, yes, in my mind it is a dependable brand and offers great value. If top performance is important, be prepared to spend more for a higher tier Samsung model.
My Sandisk Ultra II price alert just came in. It is available at US $194.99 plus ~$5 shipping, so it's AUS $281.46 delivered.

The Sandisk Plus 960 GB is too new so I was unable to find any benchmarks to confirm that the Ultra II is $32 better.
can't get the referral link to work. Seem like it asks to use android browser, but this doesn't pass discount to amazon app. :-(
I've been waiting for a cheap 1tb ssd to breath new life into an old MacBook. I think this one is for me. Cheers.
I got an Ultra II from Amazon Germany for $245aud a couple of months ago.
Do these have international warranty? And how long is the warranty for?
Is the SanDisk Ultra II 960GB worth the $US10?
