Tried since last night on both phone and desktop, got the email today from Google advertising and tried that link, tried two CC and PayPal account. Anybody else getting this error?

Did you click the link posted by OP? That has a coupon code embedded in it which gives you a 4 months trial as opposed to 30 days trial if you subscribe without that link.

This will eventually redirect to another URL, so you may not see it in the address bar later on. So the coupon code here is "CYBER4" but there is no input field where you can enter it. It can only be used if it is a part of the URL.
I had a trial in Dec 2013 but this coupon was successfully applied! :)
And like the other commenter, I immediately went in and cancelled the subscription and it is still active until 4 months from now so I don't need to remember to cancel.

It redirects to https://play.google.com/music/listen#/sulp for me, or https://play.google.com/music/listen when trying it from an incognito window. Maybe needs to be visited with a signed-in google account (without a current GPM subscription)?

Think I'll go back to Spotify, as it has better UI on iPad and the sound quality seems better.. ? There's no setting on Google Play Music on iPad to check or adjust the sound quality.
I have bought music from google play, however have never had a subscription. It is saying "We're sorry, but Google Play Music is currently experiencing errors. Please try again in a few minutes."
Tried clearing cache/cookie. Any one have any suggestions?

I don't get Google Play? Why would you pay for it? It doesn't let me access any music except 3 lame albums preloaded. Anything else I have to pay apparently! Oh, I'm allowed to upload my existing music… really? Very disappointing after Apple Music, and that wasn't great :(
Hu? You get access to millions of songs. How are you only getting several albums?
