T.M. Lewin - All Shirts $28.00 Each With Free Delivery

3230

In the time-honoured Ozbargain tradition of combining multiple deals, we now have the usual T.M. Lewin shirts for $40 (formal, casual and "evening") combined with the 30% off everything Click Frenzy sale to give a price of $28 per shirt with free delivery.

I believe this is the cheapest they have ever been.

You can also try to get your 4% cashback from Cashrewards, etc, as well, however it appears you need to go through the above link to get the $40 shirts, so likely not possible.

I don't own any TM Lewin shirts as yet so can't comment on them, however they have been discussed here a number of times so do a search if you want to find out. Also happy to give TM Lewin my business given some of the good customer services stories in the $20 jacket/pants thread (which itself seemed to be a price error).

48 hours only, so get moving.

Edit: try this link if above link isn't working for you.

This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2016

      • I got a tracking number with my order.

The most recent entry on the order is:
18 Nov 2016 Presented to Carrier

It also has an Aus Post tracking number which shows:
        In transit
Shipping information approved by Australia Post
        5:22pm Wed 23 Nov

I have no idea what is actually going on with the package though. Hopefully it's here sooner rather than later.

Was your order over $100, or less? I don't know, only after I emailed them did they even give me a "partial" tracking number that shows the UK side of the order (that it was dispatched from there). The person who replied to my email told me that the delivery period mentioned in the confirmation email was wrong, and that it actually takes 7-10 working days to deliver to Australia. Hopefully it will be delivered this week.

        • @AussieDaddy:
My order was over $100, and over 2kg.

I got a dispatch confirmation on 19/11 with tracking from www.ocsworldwide.co.uk

On the tracking page was a link to Aus Post tracking.

The TML website says to allow 10 business days for orders to Australia, so it should be here by the end of this week/early next week.

        • @Dr Boulos: Yeah, that's what I thought. They give full tracking number to orders over $100. According to their maximum ten business day delivery, they should be here by this week.

        • @AussieDaddy:
          Mine arrived yesterday.

Tracking only updated on the day prior to delivery.

          Very happy with the shirts.

I emailed TM Lewin yesterday, and this is the email reply that I've just received:

    Hi *****

Thank you very much for your E-mail.

I am very sorry to hear you have still not received your TM Lewin order. Please allow me to start by apologising for the fault in our confirmation E-mail, the delivery time to Australia is in fact 7-10 working and not the 3-5 working days stated in the E-mail.

The delivery will be with you over the next few working days, please accept my apologies for the delay up to now. Your order can be partially tracked using the following link: (and there he gave me a partial tracking link that only showed the order shipped from the UK on the day of dispatch).

    • Thanks for sharing, that makes a lot more sense!

  • Just got mine last Thur and had to exch all 3 shirts due to the sleeves length.

    • Mine not delivered yet. They probably got pissed with the OzB effect and decided to send some of the orders with the snail mail. lol

  • Mine just got delivered yesterday (Sydney CBD).
Very impressed with the quality. Well worth $28!
I found that one of the shirts I ordered was regular fit (other was Fitted and was fine) and was way too big.
Went into the T.M. Lewin store to exchange it for a small size. The lady was quite helpful but said that they cannot price match the online price so they will accept a return but it will still be processed online and delivered to me. Didn't need to pay anything she took the shirt back and processed it for me.

  • How's everyone going with delivery?

Mine dispatched 17/11 and not yet arrived. I know it's not quite 10 business days, but thought I'd check on here to see what delivery times has been for you all.

    I'm in Brisbane.

Got mine Wednesday last week. Also in Brisbane.

Mine has just arrived less than an hour ago. It took exactly 10 business days to arrive since dispatch day.

      • Through auspost?

        • The delivery bast*rd pressed the door bell and just left the package at my door (probably heard me walking to the door or something), so I guess it's AusPost, or one of their Star Track contractors. It's a new delivery guy, and he did similar thing before. Wanted to catch him one of these days and tell him not to do that, as I live in an apartment building and shit can disappear faster than you can imagine.

  • To those who returned shirts to TML (for an exchange or refund), what is the process? Do you have to pay the postage cost, or they give you (or you print out) a free returns label like CT Shirts does? Some of the (regular size) shirts that I bought from them are too big, and for $28 a shirt, I am not sure if the cost and hassle of returning them for exchange is worth it. I might even alter them, though that might be costly here too. Damn!

    • +1

I believe you can return them (or send for exchange) in store for free, but that just means they send it off to the UK for you rather than an on-the-spot changeover.

Otherwise you are up for the return postage costs.

      • By store, I think you mean TML store? I live in Adelaide and I don't think they have stores here. In the Store Finder section on their site, they indicate the Myer store in the center of the CBD as a TML store, not sure how that works. Do they have some sort of working relationship with some Myer stores and I can return the shirts there (and they'll send them to the UK), or they actually sell TM shirts there and I can do exchange if they have the correct size shirts?

        • Yeah, TML store. Not sure what the story is with Myer shopfronts.

Could maybe say you lost your receipt/gift/whatever and try to do an exchange at Myer?

        • @djkelly69: I have my receipt and return labels etc, but I am not sure if Myer actually has TML shirts, or if they'll send my shirts back to TM in the UK. Will give them a call and see what they say. Ta

        • @AussieDaddy:
I work in the formals section in adelaide city and you would most likely not be able to return or refund since our store is not directly linked to the tm lewins online store. Also, we only stock regular, slim fit and fully fitted shirts so there’s no exchange or returns for super slim.

You may be able to talk to the floor manager and see what he can do, but from the years I have been working there, I have not done a return on lewin shirts that have been bought from the official online store.

        • @fudge911: I thought that would be the end result too, so I decided to either foot the bill and return it through AusPost, or alter it. I was leaning towards mailing it back, but at the back of the return label they demand that you fill in your CC details (coz they refund the first one, and then charge you on the exchange one, which doesn't make sense), so I might just keep it as it's and have it fixed here.

        • @AussieDaddy:

We have some alteration vouchers that we hand out… But only if you purchase a suit/shirt/ or pant :p

On a side note, I’m still waiting for my order. Going by things, hopefully it comes tomorrow as I’d ordered 18/11.

        • @fudge911: You mean if one purchases stuff from Myer, and not necessarily TM Lewin customers, right?

I made my order on the 17th, and it was delivered on Wednesday, the 30th. If yours isn't delivered today (as it's technically Friday the 2nd now), get in touch with them.

        • @AussieDaddy:

Cheers mate will do! And yeah any formal stuff in myer. Or if you’re brave, just go to the counter and ask for one. The guys there are pretty chilled.

        • @fudge911:
Update: received the items. Shirts are little bit too big for me even for a super slim. Guess I gotta start bulking up now :(
