  For Lenovo Thinkpad T460s, last month price is 1280, CPU is Intel Core i5-6200U Processor (3MB Cache, up to 2.80GHz), others are same, so CPU upgrade from 6200 to 6300, you need pay more $200…

    On the other hand, CPU is the UN-upgradable thing and $711 saving is still a great deal.

    Specs? Laptop is much more than just CPU + screen + amount of RAM and hard drive.

      If Specs is the high priority then E series is the choice.

        He meant not just the usual specs blab but also to take into consideration:

        Portability, durability, upgrade-ability, battery life etc.

        It's like saying "Porsche 911 is expensive, but you can get cars much cheaper than that for those horsepower".

        ThinkPad T-series has magnesium rollcage and anti-spill system built into the chase, docking station support, great ThinkPad keyboard, etc.
