You forgot the real bargain of this sale. The PowerBus Charging Station for $49.99 US. RRP in China from RMB to USD works out to be $100ish.

    • Oh cool :) I also didn't know if anyone here needed a station like that :P

I'd imagine it would be very handy at phone repair stores though

Side note, what timezone does AE run on?

    • 5V2.4A*10, 5V24A 120W, so the max output is 24A at 5V, equiv to 240v 0.5A, this should be safe is plugged into one wall socket, right?

      • Yeah it'll be fine. It wouldn't have Aus certification, but ORICO do sell products officially in Australia so I'd expect the quality to be good.

  • please explain to me how a $4 car charger is electrically sound?

Note the travel charger doesn't meet Australian safety standards (Kogan was forced to recall similar chargers recently), the plug can unclip resulting in a live deathtrap remaining in the power point.

Still safe if you're careful, just keep it in mind. If buying for someone else best to go with a a figure8 5port (tronsmart, etc) and buy foreign figure8 cables.

    Edit: https://www.productsafety.gov.au/recall/kogan-australia-pty-…

Safety aside, just pay the extra $10-20. Unless you're using a $49 cheap phone you got from Coles on a $29 special, why in the hell would you cheap out on a charger?? A good quality charger is sub $30.

  • Trying to figure out how to get the most QuickCharge 2 ports into my car to charge 3 devices concurrently…

  • o.O they have the USB enclosure in purple

but i'm still waiting for my 2x clear ones from zapals :(
