That type of fridge is cool looking, however in reality will be quite tiny in a ~600 Litre like this.
The freezer looks to be too narrow to hold a Pizza LOL. And a massive loss of space from the icemaker. I wonder if that is plumbed in or must be refilled with water manually?
The "side-by-side" 2 door is an inefficient concept as there is tons of wasted space… each shelf is narrow, and there are lots of them so lots of air space above items.
The JB HiFi webpage does an incredibly poor job of explaining why there are TWO doors on the fridge or what a "food showcase" might be. Seems like a useless wank that adds cost, complexity and another way of air leakage once the seals start to age.
I agree that a 'side by side' fridge leads to waste of space. The 'food showcase' also looks like a gimmick. I would go for a French door model instead.
The ice and water dispenser on the other hand is incredibly convenient. I am assuming that it is plumbed in and filtered.
We have a very similar fridge to this, side by side & ice maker and have had it for nearly 10 years and it's been awesome, family of 6 used it with very little probs with space :)
