The towel is very thin (think more like a dish-towel than a usual bath or beach towel) so it dries quickly (think travel towel).
The cotton is woven on Turkish looms (possibly manually operated).
Egyptian cotton is a type of cotton that typically has longer threads and is typically associated with better quality cotton.
They are two different things.
