Morning OZB!
Penguin Random House are having a fantastic book sale today until 2pm maybe 3 or 4pm in the foyer of 100 Pacific Highway North Sydney (their head office is here).
Great selection of new books: (EDIT: now half the listed price below)
* $5 paperbacks: fiction, non-fiction, kids
* $10 hardbacks: fiction, non fiction, kids
* $15 illustrated hardbacks: such as cookbooks, film books, etc.
* $4 Penguin tote bags
* $2 Penguin mugs and notebooks
* $8 Penguin metal water bottles
* Plus kids activity books, colouring books, etc.
Good selection, not just the usual clearance type, and they are restocking all day. There was a massive morning rush but the tables are still full now @ 11:30am.
Picked up a Heston Blumenthal and Jamie Oliver cookbook (would normally retail $46.50 on Booktopia), a few kids books and a paperback for $50. A bunch of christmas presents sorted!
Thanks for the post OP. I made a last minute trip during lunch to check it out. Out of curiosity, how did you find out about the sale, or did you just see the sign walking past?
