FYI for those who need new three. Kmart Tyre and Auto Services will match this deal. That's what I did for a recent Jax tyre deal in August.

    • not sure why ppl upvote this post even though its not really a good deal?

  • +1

I hate these scam gimmicks when they say buy 3 tyres get 1 free

Seriously do they believe the public, (me) are getting a better deal??

And why would you need 3 tyres unless you own Mr Beans Car?

    • +4

Not sure if you're serious. These sales mean its just 25% off.

  • Not really a good deal.

Whenever I've priced tyres - sedan, 4WD, trailer etc, the local JAX was always better price. And they actually give advice on the right tyre for your application…

  • These guys price beat.
    Giv them a call.

    • yeah and?
they wont price beat and give you 4 for the price of 3

      • (Geez… bad day??… what a tone)

They will price beat if you compare apples for apples.

Ask and you may receive a deal better than other retailers have to offer.

It also comes with tyre roadside assist.
For those who cbf to change a flat… or need air to get to tyre repair place.

For u tuzii… if you want to. don't ask; and don't get the chance of a better deal.

        And??…

(U r being hopeful to stack deals)

If kmart is offering 4 for the price of 3… tyresales will potentially beat it.

        • if you think kmart is a reputable tyre supplier you probably know nothing about cars.

        • @tuzii:

          Beaus.
          Jax.
          $$$$ talks

Pretty easy to replace corolla. Im no racing driver. Keep them aligned n rotate every service.

Please do clarify where you go shopping for a deal.

        • @tuzii:

          Where for reputable tyres?

        • @chinezejew:
i buy Michelin Pilot Super Sport, from anywhere that has them cheap and have my mechanic fit and balance them..

        • @tuzii:

Will tyresales beat your best price on these tyres?
They can deliver to your mechanic of choice.
No harm to ask them the right questions… yr of rubber?

As I said before this is not a deal!
What does it mean 4 for 3?
How much is 4, how much is 3?
Put a price up there on the website to compare with other outlets.

    • Brands, types, sizes all offer so many different deals. How can you put a price up to cover all of these? Some may help, some may not but worth checking the offer to see if it is worthwhile to you.

      • "The price"

        • Of which tyre?

        • @ynwa: the round one made out of rubber

        • -1

Woolworth, Coles, Aldi, AmEx, Target, David johns, Iconics, Groupon, Adrenaline, Tesco, Carrefour, Walmart, Amazon, NewEgg, eBay, Costco, Bailian, Dalian, Aditya Birla, … and any other retailer or business in this country or any other country probably have hundreds of thousands of products, all with price tags, even if it's 4 for 3, its says how much does it cost you and they still have a price.
How many sizes and types of tyres do these chains have? 50, 80, 200? These mafia tyres are the only ones that do not put on a price tag!
Put the price tag up for the people before deceiving them.

        • @pal: Nobody is being "deceived" here. Look up your tyres and decide if it's a deal for you. How can OP anticipate your tyre brand/type/size ffs?!

        • +1

          @eediot:nice input, cretin.

  • No deal here :-(

  • No deal

  • I only want one tyre as just had a puncture and found just to be on edge of the tyre and was told that it can't be repaired as it is on the side and was only 8 months old:( i bought 4 tyres back then..

    • You're in luck! 1 tyre is cheaper than 4 for the price of 3!

can someone pls explain why https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/273416 gets so many upvotes, yet this post gets a roasting?

    • …perhaps its my Footy team or coz it's the ACTU reference code :P
