Just picked up 2x E3372 4G Optus dongles for $14 each from Kmart Arana Hills.
They also had the E5573 WiFi 4G Optus dongles for $24.
I don't know if this deal applies to other Kmart stores.
Includes "up to" 4GB to use within 14 days after activation.
The ones I got have a 1 May 2018 expiry.
Any idea which BigW store in Melbourne has stock ? I went to Boxhill and Doncaster BigW, but neither had stock.
For E5573? Not sure about Big W but Doncaster VIC 3108 is showing limited stock at Officeworks so give them a call as they might have some left. Otherwise Kew East VIC 3102 is showing in stock at Officeworks (still call anyway to make sure, officeworks website can be outdated).
I think the Officeworks website is outdated. Officeworks in Yarraville has E5573 in stock ($24) but the website shows it is out of stock there. Would pay to call the stores to check.

What is the reception supposed to be like on these units? Mine is constantly around 1 bar and barely usable.
Try moving it to near a window or a different part of the house. Mine gained another 2 bars just moving to a window.
Anyone know if you can throw a $2 dollar a day sim in these and run off them?
I'm 22Km from a cell tower and get 3 bars of 4g (band 28) on mine if I have it near the window, I am on a hill with line of sight if not for all the trees. That is for the E5573.
Just bought the E5573 at Kmart in Broadway, Sydney. Marked in the cabinet as $49 with no special showing, but asked them price check it, and scanned at $24, so pretty sure this is nationwide. For me Kmart is far more convenient than Big W, and officeworks were always out of stock (tried 4 stores last time they had the the E5573 on special, with no success), so for me Kmart + E5573 + in stock @ $24 is a definite bargain. Also the SIM expiry date is listed on the box as 1/Sept/2018.
There were 3-4 of these at Kmart Lidcombe today as well.
Anyone know if a vodafone sim will work in this when in China?

For those wanting to grab one, the E3372 is also Aus wide at Officeworks. The E5573 is at both Officeworks & Big W also.
