  • wow great deal for students

    • I would have thought so too, but you clearly haven't seen what the students are rocking these days

  • +7

Also have a look at the Dell Inspiron 3000 for $319.20 as part of the eBay CHEER20 promo.

If you only need one unit, I think the extra is worth it for the 128GB SSD, extra RAM and better processor.

  • cant go wrong at $150 each.

  • If anyone in bris has an amex card and wants to go halves……

  • One thing to watch out for with these is the limited storage space. With only 32GB, its a bit tight. My mum has one and she gets fed up of constant running out of space notification, and windows updates are a problem. Whenever theres a major update theres not enough room to install it, either have to do a reset first or a clean install, kind of a pain in the ass. 64GB would be my minimum recommendation. at $150 each is great if you are aware of the limitations. If you actually want something completely functional then get the dell for $320.

    • I managed to install Windows build 1607 with about 1.5gb of free space left post installation. There really is very little wiggle room when it comes to major Windows patches.

  • This laptop struggling on multi tasking due to lack of ram.

  • I owned one of these. I would not pay $150 for it to be honest. It's too underpowered to handle Win10 so you spend your life waiting. It's a horrible horrible experience.

The old netbooks were more tolerable as Win XP was far more forgiving.

It'd be ok as a kids starter computer. Nothing more.
