When redeeming gift cards:
2000 MR points is approximately $15-17, a 3% discount, i.e. Spend $500 get $17.
1000 MR points is approximately $7.5-8.5, a 8.5% discount, i.e. Spend $100 get $8.50.YMMV when redeeming for others (e.g. flights).
Compared to other Amex offers, not very good.
Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come
If it has anything to do with apple, don't expect too much.
