HN website seems to be down at the moment.

    • Not so much down, as blank. The website is responding, but serving up blank pages.

  • Obligatory comment to maintain deal in feed.

the camera is sooo over priced

  • if it's anything like their game sale it should be good.

      Normally not good.

      • Normally depends on the store… my store sucks balls, so won't bother with it

        • Same here, I will have a quick looksy, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

    • HN sales are always a let down… The cheap "big ticket" items are never there, but they always seem to have a model they can upsell you to.. The "Up To 50% Off" never seems to happen, and if it does.. The product that was selling for $199 the day before magically jumps back to an "RRP" price of $299 when the sale begins and the best you can find is 30% off.

  • True, their sales usually are rubbish. They do that just to lure customer in. Usually they only have a couple number of big sale item, the rest is kept hidden in their store room and anyone ask will be told sold out to keep their interest high. There is a reason people called them Hardly Normal…

  • Is that all?

  • thats not really a sale if there are only a handful of items..

wonder if they are selling the gps for cheap…

  • and I once went for "Price Match/Price Beat By 10%"
and they won't even bother do it, (it was below their cost)
I wonder why are they advertising it?! it should be illegal!!

Harvey Norman are franchise, if your store is good, it might be good!
if your store is bad, DON'T EVEN BOTHER!!! :(

  • OMG just rang them up now and the guy says that nothing is especially on sale today. Everything is exactly the same as the EOFY "sale" prices. So the guys complaining about excluding TAS… nothing to lose :)

  • i just can't picture hordes of shoppers fighting over the $1 pack of dvd-r or the $58 samsung rocky phone i've never heard of…thanks but no thanks!

stopped in on the way home from work. What an EPIC FAIL Hardly Normal sales are. What a joke. There was nothing reduced. This sales guy was trying to tell me an acer netbook for $500! I played along and told him nah. Then he started telling me that I cant get it cheaper elsewhere. I told him I could go across the road and visit MSY. He then said, but their not the same. I said thats right, they're cheaper!

Did you tell him he's a stooge?

This was a complete and utter farce

    We went to GORDON, NSW.

There was absolutely nothing marked as a manic Monday special.

Even the couple of advertised specials WERE NOT MARKED DOWN, even at the register.

    EPIC FAIL.

This sounds like a legitimate reason to complain:

I'm in WA so have no personal experience as to the complete lack of sale. But those of you in Vic, QLD and NSW could make a go of it. If enough people lodge a complaint, they can't get away with advertising non-existant sales.
