    It's a little weird referring to it as wireless. Cordless is a better fit. They literally mean the same thing, but I guess cordless is generally used when referring to power (eg kettles) and wireless when referring to communications (headphones, radios). Cordless phones are the only exception I can think of.

    I guess they went with wireless because cordless would have you think rechargeable, rather than battery operated. Perhaps they should have just gone with 'battery powered'; that would have saved me so much mental anguish.
