As always, don't look at RRP's on SE's site, they're always overpriced.
But many of the Group A items look to be worth about what the Trifecta costs, meaning Group B and C items are basically free
The Netgear D6400 VDSL modem is pretty poor value. I hope nobody ends up getting that… that's no where near the $300 price point.
Cheers scrim :)
Any thoughts on the Lenovo Thinkpad Helix Ultrabook 11.6" i7 256GB 8GB which is in the $699group, looks like it is an old model but reasonable specs? - http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/lenovo-thinkpad-helix-…
Looking for a laptop for the wife for web surfing etc.
I was thinking similar things for the same reason. The specs are still good and would definitely be overkill for web browsing and general stuff. I'm more in the market for a transformer type laptop but can't find a reasonably priced one.
No, it's too heavy and old specs.
The battery life of this will be abysmal , the core 3xxx series has poor battery life compared to even the 4xxx series
IIRC It is also clunky as per reviews 3-4 or so years back
Heavy, poor battery life, old tech, and still ~$600 (depending on group B, C value).
Thank you for all your replies, will skip this one. Another $ saved due to the power of Ozbargain!
Are you going to update OP with group 2 and 3 ?
I think a GTX 1060 + 128gb Samsung micro sd + whatever crap is in group c is the only half decent combo??
The candle (seriously?) would have to be a sure thing out of group c, right ? :|
It would be a better deal if the GTX 1070 was a different brand. Knowing the recent EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 overheating issues. I would avoid these cards.
you would have thought that the joker that put together the $329 trifecta can use some common sense and not make iphone cases being half the items in group C.
Then again they are offloading their junk so…
Actually thought this was a good deal till I saw that it was the 3GB model, you can get that model in the current MSY sale for 300 after discount + less worries about warranty and crap
A motherboard with built in palm rests and customizable shortcut keys for $79? Yes please!

What about a candle that has an LED display that gives at-a-glance view of status, activity, speed, and full-duplex operation?! For under $24? What a bargain!

group b and c look like over priced crap
