personally i have looked at the monitor, and am very impressed on the colours and viewing angels, so yes i would say its good for photo editing.
has been cheaper tho.
Wouldn't touch it for anything professional. It's TN so viewing angle washes out and the colour only manages srgb. Haven't seen any reviews that shows how even the backlight is.It's 10 bit internal so may calibrate ok.
Anyone give me some feedback, what is the best 4k gaming monitor for less than 600 $?
I don't have an answer but I suspect you'll struggle to get a good one at that price. I think the $800-$1000 Mark would be more realistic.
I have had this monitor for about 14 months. Bought in an MSY sale for $500. It's a nice monitor for photo editing but for gaming it's horrendous. Almost every AAA game I play on it has screen tear. Paired with a 980ti. To confirm I've tested on an Acer Predator x34 and had no screen tearing on the same settings.
Good monitor for the price but don't expect a whole lot until the minimum $800-$1000 bracket.
It's a TN panel for those wondering why it is so cheap.
Any1 uses one for professional photo editing? If so any good for the task?
