Cheapest I've seen. I was just about to grab this from Pushys for $320, but with such a massive saving I'll risk a grey import.

Picked up the original Vivoactive in the run up to Christmas last year for around $220 when Telstra had a 30% off sale on wearables. Been great, only 35 grams and very small profile on the wrist, almost a perfect running watch. I had an ANT+ chest strap heart rate monitor plus speed/cadence sensors on the bike and it's compatible with all of these. Battery life is excellent
A couple of things to consider for the Vivoactive HR:
- optical wrist based HR is nowhere near as reliable and slower to reactive than the ol' chest strap
- the profile of the Vivoactive HR is very different with the HR sensor in place. I find it a bit uncomfortable, especially compared to the originalGood review here: https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2016/05/garmin-vivoactivehr-reviā¦
Best price I've seen. Just confirming it's grey import?
Yep delivered from UK. They're very good at hiding it.
Good luck, really bad reviews in trustpilot.
Great pricing, been keeping an eye on these.
If it's grey import then I guess no local warranty?
Devices purchased in the United States, Canada, UK, Europe or any other country must be returned to the Garmin Service Centre in that country or to the retail store where the device was purchased. Alternatively you can choose to pay the non-warranty repair rate.
All contacts on the site point to the UK, so I can only assume it to be grey import.
If you change the currency to pounds, it comes to 156 pounds which may come out a little cheaper. This works on a lot of things probikit sell.
Got it from JB HiFi for about $270 a few months ago. Just go in store and ask them for their best price? That's what I did.
Slightly more than this deal, but it's AU stock.
Is anybody currently using this for cycling? I am trying to toss up whether to get this or just keep using Strava on the mobile to track rides
You can link the Garmin Connect app with Strava so it automatically uploads activites.
Works with the Vivoactive.
I use the original for cycling - hooks into ANT+ cycling accessories with no issues. As Telios mentioned the data dumps into Garmin Connect which then (if you've set it up) dumps directly into Strava. It's not ideal having the speedo on your wrist though - it's very hard to read the data on your watch when you're riding. You could put on your handlebars but then you'd lose the HR function.
Be ye warned!
While I loved my Vivoactive and put many thousands of k's on it.
I cracked the screen recently, and even though it is under warranty - there are no means for repair even under warranty!
They will only offer for you to send the watch in to be swapped with a refurbished model…for around $150AUD.
You can replace the screen yourself but you will not only void you warranty doing so, you also ruin the waterproofing of the watch.
That's pretty standard Garmin practice with pretty much all their units. Not ideal, and part of the reason I was using Timex stuff (so much more durable…) for a few years despite the lack of local support.
It's one of the reasons I am hesitant to upgrade to a Fenix 3 HR.
I'll be damned if I spend $600 on a sports watch that is treated as completely disposable.
Bought mine the day it was released for $399 a few months ago. Still going strong. I like the flexibility of downloading watch faces, widgets, apps, and data fields. Good battery life, waterproof and lots of sensors that are fairly accurate.
Don't buy from ProBike. Still waiting for the shoes I purchased 35 days ago. Now currently on paypal claim. They mention an AU estimated delivery date then when you ask where your item is, they tell you it's coming from the UK!
For new customers - If you use the code FIRST10AU you get an additional 10% Off making it $236.24… That is certainly a bargain in my books!!! I've ordered one.
Keep in mind folks - only available in x-large band size.
For anyone that stumbles on this deal in the future - I ordered my Vivoactive HR just after I posted this deal and received it today.
That's a total of 8 days or 5 business days delivery time (yesterday was the Melbourne cup public holiday here).
Noiiiice.
Just picked up an original Vivoactive on ebay for $200 - I'd be all over this otherwise.
