Went to look for a microwave cover at Big W and found that Sistema food storage containers are 50% at Big W.

Page 18 of the catalogue. Offers end Wednesday 26 October

I find that these containers do get stained after time and gets annoying to wash out.
Usually reserve that for pyrex containers but still lots of uses if you need to store frozen food and organise things other than food.

    Yeah its pretty common. The ones i saw looked like a new style, nowhere near as strong. Maybe cutting corners hence able to make it cheaper?

  Not sure if these are a revised design, but my current systema with blue lid design is not watertight. I don't know why the hell they put in a nice rubber o-ring if it does nothing at all. Be mindful of this if you're buying them with watertightness in mind.

    Agreed. Unless they've changed this on the new model it's a rubbish design. The side snap clips & fancy schmansy blue o-ring do naff all. Won't buy again. A simple interference fit design doesn't look flash but gets the job done properly.
