    WTF that's so high

    • For a 4K TV it's not bad. Samsung's KS series beats it at 21ms, but motion handling in 'game mode' is pretty bad on those sets.

This model is very popular in the UK , known as DX902. After 4 years my 55 Samsung series 6 is due for an upgrade, off the Gumtree for this beast.
Very good reviews once you do find them, but surprised rtings doesn't have any Panasonic models reviewed. Choice magazine has it reviewed but not sure what's with samsung , choice gave the ks9000 12 great examples of the tv but only 3 for the panny.
I assume they didn't give them a test model and to keep it after the review ;)

    • The Samsung KS series is good, great contrast ratio, smart TV interface and exceeds HDR Premium requirements - but the DX900 is on another level due to it's FALD backlighting.

I think Rtings is US based, and unfortunately the DX900 isn't sold there so they'll probably never review it. :(

Quality television here. Have seen it compared to others with test files and the picture is jaw dropping.
Would seriously consider it if I had the cash… and no wife… and no 6 kids…

    • You could always get rid of them and get the television.

  • How does the UHD picture on this compare to OLED televisions (not using for gaming)?

    • A lot closer to OLED PQ than than edge lit TV's.

This is a good price if you are after such a tv.
It was really high on my list when I was going nuts researching new tvs, but the price was well over 4K (~3 months ago).
I ended up paying similar price for 55" OLED (no complaints!), but if you specifically need a 65" then this should be at top of your list…

  • "awesome TV for the price"?

How much more do you want to spend? Can you even spend more for a TV this size??

(Don't get me wrong, I'd love one, it's not a comment on quality.. I'm asking "whats better"?)

    • Well, see if you can find one other FALD 65" HDR Premium certified TV for the price?
