Good price, but pity Bitburger is not a great beer for my taste - very average. They had Oettinger for $10 the other day, a better German beer IMO - currently $13 which is still a good price.
A matter of personal taste, but to me, Oettinger is disgusting. Bitburger and XX are by far tastier beers.
It's definitely a matter of personal taste when it comes to beer! I actually find Oettinger more tasty than Bitburger. Then again, Oettinger is more a Pilsener style lager, and I tend to enjoy Pilsener's more than other beers.
I didn't mind Bitburger the last time it was a $10 special.

Shame BWS still have their 'No Visa Debit Card' policy. Bummer.

Woolies and their subs (BWS, BigW etc) no longer accept Visa Debit as a form of payment. Apparently it costs them 0.001cent per transaction.
From their website… "…customers using Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit cards will soon be the need to press either the ‘cheque’ or ‘savings’ buttons to access their funds through the Australian-owned EFTPOS network, rather than the international credit card network."
That sucks big time - with my visa debit card, if I use it as a savings EFT transaction instead of pressing credit, it costs me a fortune!
@Wampus: major suckage indeed. i salary sacrifice and get a visa debit card for expenses…i guess coles&co and dan murphy's will be seeing more of me
Got one 6 pack of Bitburger this morning.
I used my Wish Card which I purchase at 5% off. Thus costing me A$9.95 for the 6 pack.
Not too bad a beer which should keep me going for 6 more world cup games.

Dos Equis is great. Bit like we don't drink fosters here in Australia, they don't drink Corona in Mexico, they all drink Dos Equis. I drank litres if the stuff while I was there. Good times.
