I topped up £100 and get £5 + £3 according to the emails I received.
Checked with my 28 degrees master card, I was charged $164.52 for £108 top, not bad considering Christmast is coming, it is handy to have some balance to use on Amazon UK.

Note: according to the comments on HUKD and Ozb, the offer seems to be targeted, but no harm to try.

    What do people buy on Amazon UK? Other than the occasional DVD/bluray deal I find Amazon US to have a bigger selection, much lower prices (even after VAT deduction), and lower shipping costs.

      I used to buy lots of books and Legos from them before Christmas, when they have the free postage promotion and our dollar was strong , you can still find some deals in these categories now, I still buy for my kids but not as much as before.
