Terms and Conditions (from the email about the offer):

Promotion runs from 07/10/2016 to 9/10/2016 at Woolworths supermarkets, Woolworths Metro and Woolworths online (in all cases excluding Tasmania). Triple points equals 1 standard Woolworths point and two additional Woolworths points. No points will be earned on purchases of smoking products, gift cards, mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards and tickets, delivery charges, internet cafes, Carpet Care and and woolworthsflowers.com.au . To ensure you receive your triple points offer, you must scan your Woolworths Rewards card at the checkout or enter your card number at the checkout when shopping online during the promotional period.

      All stores, it's on the Woolworths homepage as well.

      Edit: However the terms and conditions in the email I received about the offer said that it excludes Tasmania so not sure about that.

        There's triple points over the weekend for Frequent Shopper Club cardholders in Tasmania as well.

    In percentage terms the triple points represent an additional 1% discount.
    The base points are a 0.5% discount.
    They also have double points on selected products at the moment which represent an addtional 0.5% discount.

    Discounted gift cards can also be purchased from various sources.

    But is there anythinf that you can buy that makes triple points worth it???

    Triple points don't happen much with Woolies usually its always double points!

      It is only the sixth week since Woolies changed to points system.Too early to draw the conclusion.
